Collins was last seen on January 2 while visiting family in Fort Gay.

Troopers could not release any other details about why they suspect Collins went missing and say they are not ruling anything out.

Missing person Casey Allen Collins (39) of Fort Gay, WV missing since 1/2/2017
Casey is 5'8, 200lbs, tattoo on upper right shoulder that says CC also has CC on one of his fingers, a cross on left forearm that goes from his wrist to elbow, a poem on his upper right side chest, along with other tattoos. Witnesses have told the police and family Casey was seen getting in to a white Chevy S10 2door pickup truck and was never seen or heard from again. The police are not releasing much information on Casey Collins not sure why but the family has reached out for help. Casey has been known to trouble and substance abuse no one is sure if at the time he was using or not. Casey has known to be in WV, OH, KY and possibility TN, leaning more towards TN per a strong connection. According to a release, Casey Collins of Fort Gay, WV. has not been seen by family members since January 2nd [2017] while he was visiting family in Fort Gay.
Collins was known to frequent the Fort Gay and Louisa, KY areas.
Casey is 38 years old with dark hair and green eyes and is approximately 5’ 8” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.
If anyone has any information about Casey Collins or his whereabouts, please contact the Wayne Detachment at (304) 272- 5131 or any 911 center. "

Unidentified male body found in WV:

UPDATE as of 8:45 PM: Troopers with the Hinton detachment for West Virginia State Police tell 59 News the body found was a male.

Troopers said there are two tattoos that could help identify the man. One is a tribal tattoo on the right upper arm, and the other is a quote on the right rib cage, abdomen area that reads "Dying Breed".

Troopers said the body was found in the Greenbrier River at Rocky Bottom Campground.

No word yet if foul play is suspected in this case.

This doesn't sound like an exact description match of Casey's tattoos (no mention of the cross on the left forearm) but the locations of two of his tattoos are similar (upper right arm/shoulder and right rib cage/abdomen). Are there pictures of Casey's tattoos anywhere?
