I just listened to John Lordan's coverage, and honestly—I forget where in the video he mentions this—but there could be something to the theory that Charles was robbed and murdered. Maybe one or more persons had been watching him for a while, enough to figure out that he was blind, and decided it would be easy to mug him. If Charles put up a fight, then maybe the person(s) responsible took it to the next level.Finally...as it's been long overdue, IMO. John Lordan recently profile Charles' case. Correction: September 20, 2020* was a Sunday...I just listened to John Lordan's coverage, and honestly—I forget where in the video he mentions this—but there could be something to the theory that Charles was robbed and murdered. September 20, 2022 was a Sunday, and I know the podcast mentioned Charles was active in his local church. Did he regularly leave for church on Sundays around 5 a.m.? That seems way too early for me, but some churches have 8 a.m. services. If he helped set up, that might explain such an early departure. Or maybe he ran other errands? The point is, if he regularly left the house around that time, then that could've been a pattern noted by persons observing him.
