I noticed when I was following the group the two hashtags one for each family her family has heavy suspicions about the husband.Your lucky you got any coverage of either vigil.This is a quiet missing persons case as far as local media goes.

This is just awful. Poor Crystal- she comes to be with her grandmother and help and then disappears. It looks like it is leaning towards foul play. I hope her family and friends get answers soon.

Yes I quit following the group real quick because I know what most think and what the stats are in these situations.Family members for Crystal asked the group as quiet as possible because of the Grandma.IMO the police are only looking at one possible scenario also.

That’s got to be tough. Keeping things quiet due to her grandmothers health. Private sleuthing only so it doesn’t leak out. And a divided family. I don’t see how that is helping to search for Crystal.
Prayers for her family and a clue to bring Crystal home.

While I completely understand not wanting grandma’s stress levels to go up during her recovery, what if she had a tidbit of information that she would share if she knew crystal was in trouble? She was probably the second to last person to see her, right? Sigh, I hope she is found so soon I’m so sad for this family.

The division in the family and no pleas from the husband speaks volumes IMO. Wonder if she’d expressed anything to grandma about being followed or uncomfortable. I’m sure grandma knows somethings not right at this point, she visited constantly.

I hope CRYSTAL' S sister or cousin or daughter can ask her grandmother's doctor if there is a way grandmother could talk to LE. It's a hard call either way.
I bet grandmother would want to know.
But maybe she has been sedated and not able yet.
I wish her husband well.
Family needs to come together in full force. To locate Crystal.

Dang. Idk if this is posted. Sorry if repeat. They found her and her husband is charged with her murder.

I’m glad he confessed, too. Maybe he told them where she was. If not, they must have just found her and confronted him about it. It makes more sense now why only her and her phone were missing. Not even her shoes. I just can’t understand what makes people so evil. Prayers to her family and friends.

This is from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Facebook page. It’s a post written by them.

It says he admitted to killing her at her Grandma’ house during an argument. He then buried her body in a shallow grave. He led the detectives to her body. Her body is being exhumed by investigators and the WV State ME today. So so sad.

I can now say the rumors were true on SM.
His family defended him, what a heartless coward.
My stomach aches on this one.
Your life was stolen.

The body was found in Kentuck WV, 20 miles north of Sissonville. Confusing that Crystal's last phone ping that night/morning near Mammoth WV, 20 miles south of Sissonville.

Pretty sure that LE knew the story from early on but didn't reveal anything. Couple other current cases where there is similar silence.

RIP Crystal.

ETA- I was never sure that Crystal made those last late night texts, which could change the timeline.
