I would like to know how long this driver has been with FedEx?
Why won’t LE release his name or a photo?
I am surprised this doesn’t happen more often, but how would you hide a FedEx truck?

This is mysterious. You figure fed-ex drivers have two way radios and cellular phones. What happened?

True! Perhaps he didn’t have cell service, this is a very rural area. However, he did send a text.

And did they find the van?

A lot of the times, you can send texts when you can't call out on a cell phone. I live in an area with spotty cell phone coverage and I can usually send a text because the phone will connect to a tower for a few seconds so it can get out. Sometimes it will go out 4 hours after I send it, but it goes when it connects. Calls are a different story. You'd have to have the magic combination of calling at the same time you connected to a tower.

In our family (we travel THROUGH West Virginia a lot) we refer to it as "The Land That Sprint Forgot"

So happy he's been found.
