Found Safe WV - Kelsey Grimmett, 24, Logan County, 28 Sept 2017

Logan County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help to find a missing woman.

Kelsey Grimmett, 24, was reported missing Thursday by her father who told deputies it had been more than a week since he had spoken with her.

Grimmett has brown hair and is 5' 5" with brown eyes and has a frog tattoo on her left arm.

There has also not been any activity on her social media pages.

Deputies say Grimmett may be with Nathan Meade, 39.

Kelsey's father told deputies he believes the two may be in the Huntington area.

According to a release, deputies responded on Aug. 25 to a complaint of domestic assault and battery that involved the two in the Man area of Logan County.

Deputies say the incident took place over several hours and it wasn't until Kelsey was able to get free of Meade and run into a nearby gas station to get assistance.

As a result of the investigation, the Logan County Sheriff's Department obtained warrants for Meade for Domestic Assault, Domestic Battery and Strangulation.

Meade is 5'10" with hazel eyes, brown hair and tattoos on his right shoulder and left upper arm.

It's always worrisome when a woman goes missing and there is a history of DV. Hope she is o.k. and comes home, or at least contacts her family, soon! Is NM the father of her children I wonder?
