Man charged with incest, 149 counts of gross child neglect and more

A man is facing a litany of charges of a graphic nature.

Kenneth Ray Cook, 43, of MacArthur, is currently behind bars on allegations that he had a non-consensual, incestuous relationship with his daughter which resulted in the birth of three children. Law enforcement says these children were found to be suffering from neglect.

Not only having to deal with this guy now, having to fund the next 50 years of therapy and educational assistance, plus having to feed this guy as he withers in jail. I give the good people of West Virginia a lot of credit. These cases are brutal.

His victim is aged 22 now. She has been victimized since age 9, per her very public FB statement made on April 24, 2025 to her FB account. I will not name her or link that account here per TOS but it is out there for any who wish to seek it out.

It is tragic what she relays about this situation. This young lady was failed by family friends, mandated reporters, all of them if what she says is so. Many prayers for her as she navigates the now she is left with. May her father rot beneath the jail.
