maybe start with a CPS investigation cause she's obviously too foolish (& racist) to be a good mother

Has it been stated in MSM that this was a racially motivated incident? It seems that the mother over-reacted and embellished the story, but we don't know as of yet what her motives were for doing so. She appears to have said that it may have been a "cultural misunderstanding". The mother definitely has some things to learn after all of this, and she was wrong to report the crime as attempted abduction if that isn't what happened. And charges should be brought against her if appropriate. If it was a misunderstanding she should have said that from the beginning.

That being said, Mr. Zayan has some things to learn from this as well. Here in America, in this day and age, it is not appropriate to touch a stranger's child, even if your intentions are just to be friendly. I'm old enough to remember, when I was a little girl, older men patting my head, rubbing my shoulders, sometimes hugging, and even a few pulling me up onto their laps lol! 40 years ago that was much more acceptable, today not acceptable at all. I'm going to give both sides the benefit of the doubt that it was a cultural misunderstanding that got blown out of proportion, at least until we hear otherwise.

I am “outraged” (strong word, not what I would choose) by hoaxes. This is no different. This lady needs to be arrested and face the consequences. I feel terrible for zayan, the victim in all of this. I also hope he sues her.

Yes and she needs to be prosecuted for brandishing a weapon and assault if she actually pointed a gun at him. It now seems very possible she created the entire story for attention and he never touched her child and she didn't brandish a gun. If this occurred, she should be forced to into hundreds of hours of counseling (at her expense of $120/hour). Community service consisting of cleaning up lots of dog poop at the humane society might also rehabilitate her personality.

To me, this is worse than Jussie. Real people affected. Waste of police time. Fear in the community that a kidnapping like this could occur.

That is bull and everyone on this page knows that. Seriously what has this page turned into. Every single case turns into some racial BS. If two white men had been near Jussie area the night of the hoax they would have been arrested and only after the investigation would they have been released but those white men no matter how cleared their name was would still be accused by some.

ITA. I wouldn't blame her victim a bit if he sues her.

I think she initiated it because she wants attention from a husband and others in her universe who are just as xenophobic than she is. Her behavior is disgusting and from the length of her perp walk, the cops and DA are not happy with her incredible waste of resources in a very small community.

I hope her family is placed on the radar of CPS because her twisted mind is a danger to her children. Shame on her.
