Maybe not so much "fake" as misguided. A healthy young person dies inexplicably. It stands to reason that the parents want to know what happened. People usually want someone to blame when suffering such a tragic loss. It's human nature, in my opinion.

We had a healthy 13 yr old boy die in our community. He went to sleep and never woke up. It was his heart. Before I’m willing to blame the hosts and attendees, I would have to know this wasn’t the case here.

We had this happen to an eight or nine year old in our town. It was heartbreaking.
