[h=1]UPDATE: Remains found inside burned cabin ruled to be human[/h]

NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office say remains found inside a burned cabin are human remains. According to the state fire marshal, the cabin is a "hunting shack" type structure.
The shack was located in a very remote area on an old logging road along the Birch River in Nicholas County.

Investigators say the shack was last seen standing a month and a half ago.
