I have high hopes right now. It looks very very good! Weather grounded air support though so we are waiting for sleds to get in and confirm
What did you hear?

That is exactly what I am thinking happened. Maybe went further into back country than intended and ran out of gas like the 5 posted above.

It's Christmas, great day for a reunion!

Waiting for MSM but just heard from a source!!!!!!!!!
They believe they have been found, alive. Yes I'm crying.
Reports direct from family/friends:
4 guys spotted matching the description of the missing riders. Appear to all be okay.
Helicopter dropped a care package, with a note telling them to stay there, keep their fire going and help is on the way.
Weather turned and the helicopter had to go back to Cheyenne so we have to wait for sleds to confirm.
SAR went out on sleds but the coordinates given by the helicopter were extremely steep. So they have headed back.
I can't copy the GPS coordinates on my phone but they said near Crater Lake too.
Unclear on whether the helicopter is back up or not.
Just my opinion:
It sounds like they know it's them (pretty distinct gear) but since they haven't made contact they can't confirm yet. It also sounds like they are in a very challenging spot. It's sounding like they may spend another night on the mountain because it's almost dark now.
I can’t imagine it’s not them. The sleds also fit the description. These aren't factory sleds, they are unique. ONe is blue and yellow except for the seat. There is like a .01% chance it's anyone else. Man I hope the weather clears if they have to take them out by helicopter.

Hopefully it is them and they will be telling their grandchildren about the Christmas they missed. You can also see the general area in the Rocky Mountain link, several videos there.
