Any time a person and vehicle disappear, and specially with the sort of rough terrain you describe, I suspect unintentional disappearance—an accident that leaves person and vehicle hidden, sometimes for a very long time.

Re: OnStar being disconnected. Could a violent car wreck, like plunging down a steep cliff, possibly ‘disconnect’ it?

This has been my theory from the beginning, and remains so.

Drove down Union Pass from Dubois side down to Cora today. Didn't see anything that looked suspicious. The road is very rough and rain washed in spots but shouldn't have been an issue for a truck. Not many signs and the few there are were a bit confusing for a non-local. Have the lakes been checked? And if anyone knew where to hide a truck it would be the loggers, not accusing anyone of anything, just saying...

FYI - if a cell phone call goes straight to voicemail, the phone is either off, dead, or on but in an area with no service.

After nearly 2 weeks, one would assume the phone has no battery power. There also are probably areas there with no service.

Just found this thread. I drove through WY somewhat near this area last week coming back from vacation. I was struck by how remote and desolate long stretches were--many times we didn't see another car for quite awhile and several long stretches of no cell service. This all makes me extra worried about her.

Where would she have been after getting directions from the logger? Was there a town nearby? She mentioned getting fuel before heading back--unless she was near a bigger city, knowing how desolate it can be out there, I can't imagine there were that many gas stations nearby. Have they all been checked for camera footage and/or sightings by workers at them?

The verification process is great and makes sense, so we don't get fed false information by people pretending to be someone they're not, but it also does scare away many people that have inside information about cases. We had like 3 family members here speaking about this case and now, we have none.

Doing the same. I have not been back to the thread, since it was "locked down" for a minute. Very gut wrenching seeing that she is still missing!

All of my information is second hand from her sibling (my son's dad), and available on Facebook. I was under the impression Facebook wasn't a reliable source for this forum, so I don't have anything I can back with proof. Everything I previously said about her family's search for her was deleted.

(Pinedale, Wyo –July 29th, 2019) The active investigation continues in the search for missing Aubree Corona.

The investigation, which first became active on July 15th in the search for missing Aubree Corona of Green River Wyoming has yet to present any leads to her whereabouts. A two-day search and rescue mission was conducted in the Union Pass area earlier this month where she was reported to have been possibly lost. She was reported to have been last seen in the Dubois area. She had left her party who had been camping near New fork Lake and became turned around. After finding no signs of Corona in the Union Pass area the official coordinated search and rescue mission from both Sublette and Fremont County were suspended. However, the investigation into her whereabouts have not been suspended. Multiple law enforcement agencies in Sublette, Fremont, Sweetwater County, Wyoming Highway Patrol and Wyoming Game and Fish have continued a coordinated investigation into the missing person case.

The investigation unfortunately has not yielded any new leads on Miss Corona’s whereabouts at this point. As any news or updates become available we will share them as the investigation moves forward.

Miss Corona is still listed as a missing person. We are urging the public to come forward if you have any information regarding her whereabouts. If you have any information please contact the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office 307-367-4378

I should add that in the comments to that post the Sublette County Sheriff's Office account does respond with a comment that clarifies that they have not located the vehicle which came up because there is no mention of the vehicle in the Sheriff's Office post.
