said i can't leave her again fold over

MOO - he DID leave her AGAIN.
Alive or not, I'm not sure. Just haven't seen anyone pick this out of Brian's statement on the body cam. He has admitted he has done it before to her.

I heard “ she said I can’t believe you’re getting pulled over“

I can’t wrap my mind around this one. How do they not know? I assume it isn’t stolen if the parents are picking it up and driving it around. What is the simple explanation to this that I can’t seem to reach at the moment?
They know - imo - there was a live reporter saying it was registered to the Dad- also, when they opened the front and reached over (live) I think they looked at the registration. I think maybe they just don’t want to officially say.

It's possible. This is at 50 miles ph. Plus you have a lot of adrenaline going on.
Time = distancespeed = 2300mi50mph
=2300/50 = 46 hours
= 46 hours
= 46:00:00 (hh:mm:ss)
Edit to add: plus adrenaline

** Plus the other variable he speeds.

I hear ya. It's not even that pretty of an area. Just a bunch of scrubby trees and fields like you could find anywhere. (The campground itself, I mean). There must be prettier campgrounds where the view is better. It's like they chose the remoteness - or someone did - for a reason, but it wasn't because it made a good Instagramable area. I really do wonder why that campground was chosen.
If they had any money at all, it would have made sense (to me) to be in a better one than that. JMO

Also wonder how many murders occur in campgrounds like that on an annual basis.
I think the reason is that it is free. ?

Thank you! I found it:

"On August 25th or 26th, the couple chatted with the owner of a shop called 'Rustic Row' in Victor, Utah for about 20 minutes, East Idaho News reported on Friday.

'They told me they were traveling from Florida. They had just been to Teton Park and they said they were interested in going to Yellowstone and I told them they could go to the west entrance,' the owner, who was not identified, told the outlet.

'They seemed happy and when they left, she hollered back from the door that they were engaged and then I said congratulations.'

The shop owner said that she contacted the FBI after seeing reports of Petito's disappearance on the news.

Gabby’s mother told MailOnline that she is 'not entertaining' a TikTok video that’s been widely circulated in which a young woman describes picking up a man she believed to be Brian on the 29th.

'The timeline seems way off. Maybe she thought it was him, but I just know the timeline is off. The van left there the night of the 27th or early on the 28th. The van was in Florida on the first. It’s not possible for it to have been there on the 29th.'

Wisconsin TikToker Miranda Baker said she and her boyfriend were at Grand Teton National Park in Colter Bay, Wyoming, on August 29 when Laundrie approached the couple and asked them for a ride at 5.30pm."

Mother Gabby Petito confirms sighting of Gabby's van in Grand Teton days after she was last seen | Daily Mail Online

Victor is in Idaho not Utah. Gotta love Media's lack of fact checking.

If the mom is using travel time to eliminate the tiktok video claims, she's likely mistaken. I can't imagine she's running at 100% right now with all the stress and information coming at her.

Do we even know if he arrived in FL? We know the van was there but is there any verifiable proof that he drove it there?
A lot of articles I’ve read say the police said he came back to Florida on September 1 with the van. Also his sister says the last time she talked to him was September 1, which is weird.

There were helicopters yesterday flying a region over Grand Targee Ski Resort and just east of that. I think they might have been crews working on the lift lines or clearing timber, though, and I've heard nothing more of a search area in that region.
They were, I think we confirmed that based on a construction announcement from the resort. I know THAT helicopter didn't show up on my Flight Radar though, which is why I'm wondering if I just can't see one in the area today.

: Laundrie’s family has confirmed to
@NorthPortPolice
that they picked the mustang from the park after Laundrie reportedly drove there. It is unknown at this time when the Laundrie’s picked up the car.

Well, seeing as how the car returned to the driveway on Wednesday I’m pretty sure we can infer when they picked it up.

Just one small point: it's 18 miles from the beginning of Spread Creek dispersed camping area to Colter Bay. I took the geo coordinates from the Dyrt site that Gabby used.

43°46'20.4"N 110°29'03.9"W

I wish we had the coordinates of the Elk spotters report. That was last time van was see, right?

Oh, wow. I just went back to double-check and had to click back 7 or 8 quotes to find the beginning of the thread. Sorry! My bad! I thought for sure we were talking about the van again!

Lol, I would NOT do that to you!

It's possible that it's a bit further. So this puzzles me.

Did he really walk from the campground to Colter Bay? Or did he hitchhike? or did he take the van and just pretend to hitchhike (approaching several different people) and then trying to make sure they remembered that he's the guy traveling with the Youtuber gal - so that they'd remember him and help alibi him?

We have no idea where he or she have been since Aug 25 so he could easily have been up to no good for 2 or 3 days out of sight, then walks a trip of say two days to distance him self from the scene of a crime ( "I've been camping along the Snake River for a couple of nights while my fiance' is working on her blog in the van").

There is also no activity by phone or internet on Aug 28, so he could be trying to get to Coulter Bay without being seen.

Has she ever described them being apart overnight on this trip - like where he took off wilderness camping for several nights and she stayed behind ALONE?

I don't think so.

Who told them that and where did that information come from? There is no waiting period in Utah, Florida or New York.

Gabby parent’s reported her missing around 11 days after she was last heard from from what I read. But they were still probably trying to figure out what was going on.

At this point, the Laundries would know there is a crisis and a crowd outside their door baying for blood. So if their son went missing one would think they would be quick to report.

I think that if the person is endangered that time may be a bit more fluid, for example pregnant, diabetic, suicidal etc.

I see it!

I was doubting myself, thinking it's a reflection, but I've looked at it from multiple screenshots and it looks like a head/face to me, leaning on the window. It's not a reflection, it's clearly behind the glass. And then there's someone (BL) sitting behind the wheel in a white T shirt.

I also see 2 flipflops behind the van, not one. I see 3 bands - 2 bands from 1 sandal and then a third band which seems to be from the second sandal, as seen from the side.

MOO
I thought I saw exactly the same thing. The triangle at the bottom of the passenger side might be her chin and nose. I definitely see a white t-shirted arm in the driver side. I couldn't get my screenshots to load, but these are all between 1:57-1:59.

I also see something rectangular that looks like a book with something on top of it — to the left of the sandals behind the van. Can’t figure out how to attach picture please look. But yes I do see a face in passenger side window and I am glad I am not the only one!

From experience I can tell you that securing campsites at or near national parks can be very difficult, especially if you are on a flexible timeline. That's why you see many van campers in dispersed camping. It's generally a friendly but private crowd and everyone leaves you to your self. We much prefer dispersed camping to an established campground.

Makes sense. Things are moving so fast, I can’t think through details and read posts at the same time right now. :D
