It's almost been a month since the last update. Has he been found yet?
Since Joey’s case didn’t get huge media coverage, will we actually ever get to find out?

  • #142
Not found yet, at least I can't find any updates saying he's been found. :(

Continued prayers for his recovery.

Natrona County Sheriff's Plans to Resume Search for Missing Boy

Since the pause of physical search efforts, we have been actively planning the resumption of operations, focusing on areas of high interest based on information gathered before weather conditions stopped our physical search progress," the sheriff's office said in a written statement. "We have been coordinating with specialists, landowners, pilots and others who will aid in the next phase of deploying trained search and rescue technicians through difficult terrain."

Authorities are monitoring the snowpack and melt and plan to resume search operations "as soon as safely possible."

This is my first post and I hope I have added the link correctly. Joey has been found and the coroner confirmed Joey's identity. Thoughts to his family.

Children generally won't run away if they think home is perfect. I'm not saying there was something wrong in the home, but I'm guessing he thought there was or he wouldn't have run away.

I teach kids with autism. A lot of kids with autism have a very hard time managing their fight or flight reflex. Any stress at all and they will run. This includes kids with high-functioning autism. We try to teach them skills and strategies, but their neurological wiring is different from ours. Losing a game of Uno, for example, could feel like a life or death thing for them. Also, even neurotypical teens will run away if they perceive that something isn't fair or they aren't happy with their parents.
