You Know You're Addicted to the Case When:

Ha. They would have to rent a stadium to hold all of us that are addicted. I can just picture the interventionist saying "now the first step in getting well is to slowly hand over your laptop." Noooooooooo.

LOL...my husband just asked if today could be a computerless day.

MY first thoughts..... "Nooooooooooooo."

The doorbell rings, it's your neighbor, you peek through the windows while holding the dog's mouth shut so he doesn't bark. Always told my neighbors, if I am not home, you won't hear the dog. It worked! My dog didn't like it but I gave him a cookie, thought of having one of his cookies as I missed lunch! :)

ROFL OMG That is soooo funny. Shut up, Doggie, be good, I'll give to a steak.

:floorlaugh:

Oh Patty that was great!!! LMAO!!

HAHAHA, my husband just asked me to go get showered because we are having company and reminded me this time to put on my Bra!! (*~*Blushing!~*~)....I know! Its soooooo wrong!! Especially for 2 days, I can feel gravity taking over, I am going to develope a humped back

You know you're addicted when....
1. You change your daily wake up time from 6:30am to 5am just so you can log on to WS and check all the news sites before getting your husband up for work and your son up for school.
2. Your son knows more about the case than most adults we interact with...He is 9 and he is my sleuthing buddy. He even watches NG with me.
3. You put off going to the emergency room for almost a week because you don't want to get stuck there all day and miss an update...I ended up being rushed there the day she got re-arrested...It turned out that I had pleurisy, a lung infection, bronchitis, fluid on my lungs, and strep throat...I spent all night on IV fluids, having multiple breathing treatments, IV antibiotics, and various other medications...The funny thing is I had 2 docs working on me, and all I could do was try to look around them, because they were blocking the t.v. and NG was on...They yelled at me for waiting so long...But the next morning when they let me go home, the first thing I did was log on WS to look for any new updates...I probably should have gone to the ER sooner, but I didn't think it was that serious...As a side note, I'm still not completely better, but am getting there...

I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone here for this thread...The levity is nice....And it's nice to be on a forum with people who care about Caylee as much as I do...People in my day to day life don't always understand why this case and this little girl is so important to me, but I know here on WS I feel like people understand...Thanks you guys.

I think you get the WS #1 Obsessed Award.

I do hope you are feeling better. At least now you have a good excuse for sitting with the computer all day.....
"I'm just not feeling too strong, I think I will just sit here for a while!"

Please tell me someone else is doing this also!!!!!!!

OK OK......I did this too.....Kinda. Had the laptop on the vanity......took a cool shower so as not to make steam and kept wiping the glass down so I could see the monitor. Is this a problem, though?

I also have been seeing a therapist since my divorce 5 years ago.....went this passed Tuesday night......quickly brought him up to date and started talking about this case for the remainder of the session. BTW he had not heard about it.......really, what's wrong with people? At the end of the session he told me I should call him when I need him......."you're doing fine, Stacy." LOL Hell, why should I pay him when I have all of you?

I recently got laid off from work, I was offered a postion and accepted it. They asked me when I could start, I told them I had to give 2 weeks notice first!!! Who needs a paycheck? Who was I giving notice to? I am laid off! I quickly, hopefully correctly, jumped on the unemployment site and applied. I needed to hurry and get back to the web cam. So inconvenient. Oh and the plans that I had to paint the bathroom and really organize the house before I start the new job; waste, huge waste. I find my self blaming KC. It's all her fault!

Ok, here's a real sick one........I woke up from a dream the other morning that I had dumped 2 bodies behind a bank. I didn't kill them but I was dumping them. Whoa! Talk about sweat.

Hmm, maybe I do need therapy......nah.

When the DH asks me if I'd like to do something.....my reply.....It's really nice out. Don't you want to play golf?

I have taken my laptop in the car and searched for signal. Opened up a few threads so in case I don't get signal I can at least catch up on reading........

Um, so yeah...

Oh and I find that my brain is working faster then my fingers.....I try to slow down so I can let my fingers catch up and then my brain freezes! Spelling, punctuation, capitalization....do they matter?

When husband is talking to me while I'm on WS, all I hear is the sound of Charlie Brown's teacher...."waaaahhh waaahhh wah wahh". true.

HAHAHA, my husband just asked me to go get showered because we are having company and reminded me this time to put on my Bra!! (*~*Blushing!~*~)....I know! Its soooooo wrong!! Especially for 2 days, I can feel gravity taking over, I am going to develope a humped back

Forget the bra. You'll have the back injury anyway from being frozen in time at the computer.....

OMG Amy,
I hope you are now feeling much better? That is horrible...especially the pleurisy.
But trying to look around the doctor because they were blocking the TV, I just did that with family this morning that I hadn't seen in a year. We all walked by the family room on the way to the front door while we are all saying our Good-byes and wouldn't ya know, Mr. and Mrs. stop right smack in front of the TV to talk to our doggy.
Mr. Amity told me after they left that it was obvious that I wasn't in a 'visiting' mood. Ooopsy, baaaad hostess!

And being someplace where people understand and care about Caylee as much as you..... I couldn't have said it better.
Get well soon!

Oh my gosh, I'm rolling here lol!

Here are a few:

1. WESH and Myfoxorlando have a special place in your heart even if you've never been to Orlando.

2. You want to visit Orlando NOT for Disney World but to get a chance to watch the Anthony parade in person.

3. You have a new appreciation for shiny silky shirts since nightly viewing NG.

4. You attempt the "GRETA SNARL" at your kids in an effort to get them to tell you the truth when they fib about sneaking the ice cream . . . and it works!

5. You've never in your life cared/known much about bail bond terms, etc., but you could now write a 15 page dissertation citing JUST internet sources.

The only way around this is to wear a sports bra 24/7 until the case is over. ;) Actually, I'm not kidding.

You are seriously obsessed if when the info about the car was released, you ordered a pizza and got a pound of hamburger out of the freezer. The only reason you didn't use both your cars for an experiment was because your husband caught you.

you know this case is getting to you when you want to club that little "we sell from the box....from the box!" guy with a ton~sized roll of cardboard and when you start sending David Maus Volkswagon cards for a plastic surgeon to fix his crooked little sneer/smile (all while waiting for the 15 sec for your wftv news clip to buffer mind you)

also...I am glad that I don't have the "rack" problem some of you are experiencing! For once I am glad I was blessed with less LOL... the sportsbra thing sounds like something out of the museum of torture in Rotenburg ODt, Germany LOL

That is too funny! I don't think I would have gotten that past my husband either. : )

Ok, *deep breath* ... here's another one...

You know you're addicted to the CA case when you suddenly realize you have the capability to build an exact replica of the Anthony house in your Sims game. Next best thing to being there!

Brushing off the embarrassment for even thinking that, you then wonder if perhaps an actual 3D model of the house in 1/12 scale might better help you figure out just where to hide a body, even if only temporarily.

Oh, like the cops haven't already done this? ;) Don't look at me that way!
