Please use this formatting @ the beginning a new thread titles when you launch one in which the date is relevant to the thread (e.g. event, show, etc.). Using this format consistently will help keep the information organized for everyone's benefit. An example of this approach would be March 24, 2010 expressed as 2010.03.24

For example, if you sort the forum threads by clicking the "Thread" link near the top of the forum it will automatically sort the threads by the title...first by special characters (e.g. *, "", etc.), then by numbers, and finally alphabetically.

With the use of YYYY.MM.DD formatting @ the beginning of threads - where the date is important to the thread content and case development - a simple thread sort automatically creates a case timeline. You can see this effect w/ Angel Who Cares daily updates here: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=168"]Media Links/General Discussion/Rules and Stickies - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

Putting the date @ the beginning of the thread title consistently is also another simple way to keep things organized for the benefit of all the other sleuthers that wanna read your handiwork!

It may take some getting used to @ first. Have faith - your brain will make the adjustment quickly and after a few days.
