I think that was the idea txsvicki- I think he felt compelled to proclaim not everyone in the fam is nuts... And his mum is pretty broken up about it..

In fairness, if anyone messed with my family, the ones that were not loony, I might do the same if no-one responded to my calls, etc..

I know there has been a lot of criticism of him coming forward and telling all, but I respect him for it. It's like he is sticking the pin in their fairy tale balloon.

Thank you. Just seeing some of the criminals we talk about in here get sent to prison helps me. I still grieve my daughter, and always will, and seeing this thing not shed a tear for her own baby blows me away.

Lanie

I cannot imagine, is it to personal to ask your baby's name (sorry, my kids are 11-5, and I will call them babies until they have babes.. ).
Your among friends here, btw, and if it gets too close to home here take a break, or visit a friendlier thread, but stay and give your insight if you can.

Love and respect to you.:blowkiss:

I think he was disgusted and wanted to get out that Cindy was in denial for years.

With some common sense prevails...a child is missing!

Sticking a pin in their fairy tale balloon..... Perfect!

If it really was Rick who told Greta the info, I almost wish he hadn't went on public internet forums. Anyone can find out he was telling this stuff, or at least someone claiming to be him.
I believe Rick's outrage was in defense of his parents. Cindy did not seem to care what Casey did to them and I think Rick is still mad about it. I would be too. If someone had stopped her right then, Caylee might not be lost.

I'd love to have seen pics of her at the wedding, 7 months pregnant with parents in denial. I wonder if she covered it up well, but it must not have been to well if Rick noticed it at the wedding.

If you read his thread, there was so much pain in it, in a variety of ways. I wanted to crack a few critisizers, which is my benchmark of the truth.
If you hit the sharktank and I feel like throwing a life vest, I know your legit, if not... hav at it.. I still say with all the rhetoric and tv coverage I have seen, the window (sorry, could not resist) to that family came from Uncle Rick and SuziQ caught on...

Lanie, I'm still trying to get caught up, but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about the loss of your daughter and Isabelle, I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. My sister was murdered 11 years ago. My heart breaks whenever I hear of someone else facing such a loss. God Bless!

This is still too raw for me to discuss in detail. As for insight, even now, I can be totally blindsided by some little incident that brings it all up, and I am lucky to have enough control to get off by myself before I break down. When I heard Casey on the phone to her friend explaining how she couldn't just cry every 5 minutes, I was like, what? how can you not?
This is way beyond 'people grieve in different ways', I know grief, and this ain't it.

My sincere apologies to all of you and your losses, we are in "that" club. But we are here, that says something.

Casey has been charged with child neglect (not murder) that I know of. She does have a trial date and he (as her attorney) must prepare for that trial. Baez has never said he is preparing for a murder trial.

Is this like any other missing child case you have ever seen? Do innocent parents of missing children normally spend more time with their lawyer than helping their family find their kid? Why are they so worried that LE is bugging the house, so much so that they have to meet in his office? What is one thing this family has done to find Caylee? Short of putting themselves out by wearing a tshirt and driving around aimlessly with a billboard in tow..nothing, no searches, no tears on tv begging for their grand daughter, nothing but defending Casey since day one. If there were not a court order stating a person who has Caylee has custody, they would never ever allow her to stay with them. There is not one shred of evidence that points toward a kidnapping. Not one thing that can be verified. Not one. This has been confirmed by LE in public and in the affadavit. You believe Casey Anthony over law enforcement? :waitasec:

I read all his stuff the other day. I felt he was legitimate, but I tend to be naive about some things, (I didn't realize Freddie Mercury of QUEEN was gay until he was diagnosed with AIDs :bang:) so I was also trying to not be fooled. However, I found everything he said made perfect sense and fit so well, and it was hard to believe he was just making it up when the brilliant minds here had been puzzling over these things for weeks and didn't come up with such a good story. I really feel sorry for the guy.

And I am sorry for your loss as well, kidz. I know there are a lot of others in here who have suffered similar tragedies.

:waitasec:Does anyone know when GM and GP hired the "family spokesman"? Was it the same time Rick started posting on boards? I was just thinkin......i thought it as a little weird that they shut up rather quickly.

  • #499
Lefty, actually I don't think the spokesman, Larry Garrison, was hired by anyone. I think he showed up one day and started talking for them is all. As far as I heard early on...he hadn't even really talked to them. LOL

I respect Rick, too, and glad he's man enough to tell some things. I was just concerned about what he said about the knocking of an older man through a glass window. Rick will want to see his parents again. What if he endangered himself by telling his name publicly.
