Not where I practice. Venire persons are asked whether they know any of the attorneys or the judge and are usually dismissed if they do. But I live in a large area. In smaller areas, if they did that, they wouldn't have any jurors at all because everyone knows everyone.

This is great for the Holly's family!!! One down, several more to go. Now they can proceed with the other ones with out having to listen to the animal's appeals. I hope he gets due process in prison and experiences what Holly did, fear and loss of control!!!! Rot in hell Zach!

The Judge didn't sentence ZA today - at least he didn't say - I hearby sentence you to Life, etc. etc. Are we sure that Nov. 14th isn't for HIS sentencing??
