I too didn't know they would be sequestered.... Maybe if they are they'll come to a verdict sooner than later.
If anyone finds a further break down of the jurors - you know approx. age, children, etc.

So - are there any locals who will be going to actual court?? Would love to know the "atmosphere" in the court room!!

I will venture a guess that it will take much longer than two weeks. Defense is going to need a lot of time to try and muddy the waters. JMO

Apparently so. Some of the questions they asked gave big clues about their upcoming slimy defense. Like asking potential jurors if they have ever known cops to lie and plant evidence. Looks like the evidence was planted by the cops, according to the defense. :doh:

They also asked if anyone knew about cell phone technology---are they going to dispute the ping map logs?

I don't know why they kept asking who owned guns and what caliber they were...

I'm just guessing, but aren't they going to bring in her skull, which the defense objected to - don't know what happened with that motion to keep it out by the defense. It has a bullet hole in it, plus the revolver they found.

Like I said - a guess :dunno:

I was beginning to think I wasn't going to live long enough to see this trial. I wish there was a cable channel carrying it so I could see without my laptop for two plus weeks.

I am wondering if the jails will keep Dylan and <modsnip> from watching the trial or reading newspapers during the trial. I would think it would be wise to. Actually put them in Solitary confinement for the duration so they cannot whittle and hone their own statements.

Every time I come to this thread I miss Foxfire (and others). He was like having a research assistant online at all times.

I went back and noticed that jury selection started at about 9:45am - well, the tweets started then. So can we "assume" that it will start about 9:30am Central Time???

If anyone knows - TIA!

Also Harmony - I'm going to take it that you will be doing tweets?? If you can't - I have no problem doing it today.... no where to go - but it will be pushing midnite for me if they go to 5pm!

We all have waited so long for this trial to begin and I am so glad for the Bobo family it has finally arrived. Missing Glen (Foxfire) so much though.

I am hoping and praying I don't lose power today or tomorrow but have a feeling we will when Irma comes through. So I am so appreciative of all the tweets from the trial. Isn't it also going to be live streamed gavel to gavel coverage?

I just read after Irma comes through Georgia and SC it will go on up through Tennessee. I sure hope that doesn't delay the trial.

Justice for Holly and the BoBo family. May justice be severe and swift.

I think I read somewhere the Judge expects opening statements to start around 9am.

I really hope justice is served to all these low life's. I've just got a feeling their is not going to be enough DNA evidence connected to the suspects. I'm really hoping this trial doesn't mainly rely on hearsay evidence. I will be distraught if they walk. Between this case and the van Breda case, I don't know if I'm coming or going.
