I have never seen a cross examination quite like this one. It's not really supposed to be a two-way conversation.

The defense attorney is letting this witness seem even more credible, because she asks him to show that he knows the back roads, and if he knows the phone call history, and he DOES know it, so she is making him more credible than before cross.

My husband just came home for lunch, and was listening while I was making him soup and ham sammie, and he didn't know it was a cross. LOL

Completely agree. Weakest defense. Jury might as well go home. She is helping Jason with every word.

I think that Zach went there to kidnap Holly. But he may have made contact with Clint, who had no idea anything was up.

...they parked their truck off behind the house, and they may have known the sister was leaving for school. Early in the morning would be the best time beczusr the other 3 family members would be gone already. Mom probably gets home early afternoon from teaching.

It may be a lie, that they were supposed to meet up with Clint. But I do think it shows that they knew Clint. JMO

Very plausible.

Maybe I just don't want the brother to be involved in any way, shape or form, and that includes not coming forward with what he may have known after she was taken.

OTOH, I think LE were on to this group long before the arrests but they needed more to make the arrests. I don't think these methheads pulled the wool over LE eyes for as long as it appears they did.

I want justice for this poor girl. Even if it means hanging her brother out to dry. Again, I hope there is a better explanation for his action/inaction that morning. I will say that things get out of context in the retelling--as it happens it is very fast and split-second decisions need to be made. That is not easy sometimes, especially for a person who has just woken up. See, I feel the need to defend CB. I don't want him to be involved, but if he is, he should go down even if it just his reputation that suffers.

why is she so curious about the meth and morphine and how to cook it...who cares?

So much just clicked in to place with that one statement about Clint that I'm nauseous. Those poor parents!

It didn't for me but I may be the only one. He said Holly burst out of the house raising hell. Really? With her lunch box in her hand, her phone and everything she needed for school?

It seems very suspicious to me. ZA could have easily overpowered Holly there since he already drew blood he had a weapon and pushed her back inside the house.

"Multi-color, it was MULTIPLE colors"

LOL

hate to say but JA is a very likeable guy...I recall feeling the same way about Bradley in the Hernandez trial...that really backfired though

I was thinking the exact same thing. I thought the jury was going to believe Bradley---and they did not at all, apparently.

But this defendant is not a celebrity NFL player either, so....?

Man she is trying left and right to catch him up and he is just not buying it.
"How long does it take? How do you mix it up? Where did you get the water to add to it?"

  • #756
multi color...then she tries to imply his memory is not good....he said it was MULTI COLOR...he did not analyze it.

thought it was "little jo jo" so many people killed down there they don't know which one they are burying. Yikes...is this really how it is down there?

JA: I assumed it was little Jojo that needed to be buried, when ZA said he needed help burying the body.

^^^ Respectfully, BBM

Ha! Exactly, Ocean! So, let's kidnap, drug her, gang rape & murder her instead
