Daisy7, please delete this post if necessary, and not questioning why you closed the other thread because it may seem superfluous to have two threads on ostensibly the same topic, but in defense of the other SAR thread it was put up so that Sarx and the people doing such sterling work with the technical aspects of mapping etc in this thread (which btw I'm reading in fascinated admiration while completely at sea as to how they are doing what they are doing) wouldn't have to wade through clusters of other postings about SAR discussion and theorizing in general which while not O/T aren't necessarily relevant to what they are doing here.

Kat I know where you're at, I'm just trying to convert to my program so I can get it right on navstar. Is your location on google earth (not streetview- satellite view) E or W of Dudley Shoals?

Sorry, I am behind in reading. I didn't think it was the area you were talking about but it's very accessible and very isolated (especially at night) and on dirt roads. Miles of trails going through the woods too.

I found a real estate listing for 8 of those lots in that spot. Pay no attention to the map on the real estate page, since it is wrong. The picture for the listing matches the GIS plot outline for the Dudley Shoals/Fowler/Bowman circle perfectly. So it's a definite match.

So, it appears that there has been no development on those properties at all.

The only thing I notice, though, is that it is divided for 14 lots. That real estate company is only selling 8, so either 6 are listed with another company, or, perhaps, they have started building?

We would need a local to verify that 100%, I guess.

Okay moving down Dudley Shoals/Fowler (this confuses me, sorry) is a dirt road that leads to a clearing with a MONSTROUS wood pile. There's a creek nearby.
