They are called Internet Shill's

http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/Internet-shill
An Internet shill is someone who promotes something or someone online for pay without divulging that they are associated with the entity they shill for. A shill might create a Facebook or Twitter account, set up a blog or simply comment through these and other channels, such as discussion forums.

LOL, Posted the same link just a few minutes ago, :)

Dear Websleuths Members,

Please stop the talk about paid shills. Yes, they exist but there is ZERO proof that anyone like this is on Websleuths.

Please do not even hint in a round about way that a member is a paid shill unless you can offer solid proof.

This is the end of the discussion on this topic.

Thank you,
Tricia

Well... I didn't find anything pertaining to KZ in there, but I did find this *Gem*:
sbm/bbm

"the sheriff has restricted others at his department from doing media interviews about the Avery case including several employees who received special internal recognition letters for their personnel files praising them for their work at the Avery Salvage Yard leading to Avery's November 2005 arrest, the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin determined.

The honorees included Lt. Detective James Lenk, Sgt. Andrew Colborn, detective Dave Remiker and the sheriff's younger brother, Lt. Todd Hermann. The three detectives were instrumental in helping sift for evidence to tie Avery to the homicide while the sheriff's younger brother helped operate the command center post at the Avery Salvage Yard.
"

Unbelievable! They gave these crooked cops awards for being dirty?!!! Every single one of them, right down to those who directed Pam to the Rav?
Wow!
Awards to cops...that weren't even supposed to have their hands in the investigation!!
HOW in the HELL, is this ok???

All of the above is just an attempt to muddy the waters IMO And if you are more concerned about reading about who SA is in love with this week or what SG has to say about who SA is in love with, or any of the other family drama, then I might suggest that there may be another Netflix series out there for you to watch other than Making a Murderer or Making a Murderer 2.

JMO but most here have made it clear that they don't want to be SA's girlfriend or best friend, it's about justice, period.

As for TB.... go read her twitter account for yourself. Read the replies. https://twitter.com/tcita

According to her, she never left. She was silent for a few days, apparently she got married, how ridiculous that anyone would think that she should be out there answering questions about what was filed on Friday when she is getting ready to get married. And now she is ONLY co-counsel? LOL seriously? okay. Before she was ONLY local counsel, she is now co-counsel. Do you understand what local or a sponsoring counsel means in Wisconsin? Zellner was admitted Pro Hac Vice, which means she has to have a sponsoring or local attorney, someone who is licensed in the State of Wisconsin.
Very well worded my friend!
And I do agree with Limaes, the circus does go on.
And on
And on

If Zellner speaks about why she deleted tweets, I'll be sure to post it! In the meantime, why don't you email her and ask for yourself? or tweet her and ask? While you are at it, you should ask why she deleted tweets about Ryan Fergusson and Melissa Calusinski too. This must mean that Ryan was guilty and she doesn't want to be associated with him anymore, right? and Melissa.... geesh, she must not be her lawyer anymore, or must not believe in her anymore, she must be guilty too! You do see how ridiculous this sounds, right? Maybe not. JMO

Also.... her tweets aren't facts, dexter was clearly talking about the "facts" IMO Zellner's tweets are fun at this point to me LOL
I love me some fun!

I wonder if the AG cares whether the 7th Circuit "is not friendly" to frivolous appeals? What can that court do to them? Some kind of fine? A scolding?

Come on Zellner, spell it out.

Seriously? Ok. They can deny the motion to appeal. D-E-N-Y. And not be happy about it.

I'm always serious.

That's it? Deny the appeal? I guess I don't get these tweets. I got the feeling that the "not friendly" part meant more than that. Like more than hurt feelings. JMO

Denying an appeal, is as bad as the court can go. They cannot add a spanking to that or anything. Frivolous appeals are frowned upon. They waste time and money, and are not entertained lightly by unbiased courts.

Alright. I guess I'm reading more into these tweets than whats really there.

I was thinking of something more in your face you bastards type of thing from reading these tweets.

I guess reality is much more mundane. JMO

I don't know what they can do Ranch, but any respected lawyer probably shouldn't file frivolous lawsuits, you know? Stuff like that follows a person, I would think that it can't help their careers. But JMO

What I don't understand is... I guess they get to appeal with no reason? It looks like they get to appeal just because they say Duffin got it wrong and they can. I had expected them to pinpoint what they thought Duffin got wrong with legal reasons.

Not mundane to Brendan... I love the, "In your face you bastards" though! :)

I think that there's a big difference between a private attorney filing frivolous lawsuits and a state Attorney General filing a "frivolous appeal".

I'm not a lawyer. Maybe the State is allowed to automatically appeal by statute which would mean they wouldn't have to have a reason. JMO

  • #1,076
I Think they filed the appeal as a last ditch attempt to deny wrong doing. Not gonna cut it. imo

Of course it isn't mundane to him. I don't get as excited about these tweets as some. So I tried to see if there was something I was missing.

Zellner sure doesn't make a good enough effort in explaining her tweets IMO. All she needs to do is add a few more characters per tweet. Should be easy to do. JMO

Someone claiming to be familiar with the procedures (former federal habeas lawyer) posted on reddit about the timeline for the appeal...

They have 14 days to order the record to be prepared, which is all the material that was before front of the district court (I.e. the entire trial record, plus dasseys state post conviction record that litigated the voluntariness issue) . I don't think that it will take a long time for the district court to generate it because there is very little additional oral proceedings before the district court to be transcribed (I.e. This is not a direct appeal from a federal trial that would require a long time to prepare the court reporter's record of oral proceedings).
Once the district court record is prepared, the state has 40 days to file the opening brief, Dassey has 30 days to respond and the state has 14 days to reply. Each of these events will be noted in the 7th circuit docket, which is not publicly accessible online but I'm sure journalists will know when stuff happens.

This makes sense now... they filed Notice that they are appealing... a brief will be filed later. There is another great post on there from someone that has read Schimel's response to BD's original writ of habeas corpus that was filed in 2015, and gives some insight into how he will argue the appeal IMO.
