I would expect the DOC to investigate ,since Casey has requested special consideration for her safety. I would expect the DOC would want to verify that claim before granting special treatment.
I would expect Judge Munyon to require proof beyond a non-scientific poll that claims Casey is the most hated person in America.

What I would expect and what actually happens have not been in been in sync lately,so most likely Casey will continue to get special favors.

At some point, somebody really ought to start questioning the validity of the DT claim that everyone in Florida is out to get her. :floorlaugh:

The last time I saw KC, she walking out of a brightly lit building with nothing on but a T shirt and jeans. Now, if things are as bad as they say they are WHY did they let her walk out of brightly lit, glass front building without so much as a bullet proof vest? All it would have taken was one shot and she'd be history. If somebody was 'out to get her', no amount of Sheriff Deputies with tactical rifles would have been able to stop it.

The threats, if there are any, couldn't have been that bad, because she given the option of going out at least two more ways other than the way she did.

She still owes the piper some money for all the lies she told. She's not going to learn anything if she's allowed to 'hide' and not face what's she's done.

They are appealing it was all the same lie so should be only one sentence not four. Moot but important in other ways.

That is just being used though to deflect the fallout consequences of her lying to all of these lawsuits, such as the ZFG Depo = $$$$$.

They went with the 'lying' defense to save FCA from capital murder 1 and now she is NG on that they are backtracking to try to preclude the lying admission from nailing FCA financially.

The DT are protecting their 'investment' and trying to protect her 'income' of which 40-60% is their 'money'. IMO

Casey has no money? I haven't heard her say she's broke. To the contrary, I have heard she has lots of attorneys...flies around the country...has a security team 24/7...shops for clothes...is considering taking online courses...is obviously residing somewhere...and is no doubt eating daily. How does one manage to do that without money? Now if you said Zenaida has no money...that I would believe.

Have they actually filed the appeal? Last I heard, they had only filed the "INTENT" to appeal papers.. :dunno:

..their appeal was filed with the 5th district appeals court on 7/20/2011.

..jurisdiction was given back to judgeP to hear the "costs for $$$$'s" hearing tomorrow.

..i see the DT filed a new motion "for an extension of time" a couple of days ago---granted.

if this makes it to trial, i believe it will be filmed. i think during the murder trial days i saw one of the guys (bruce?) on the live blog over at wftv say that they would be covering the civil suit. if so, we will be hearing about the content of the deposition in court, even with it being sealed, correct?

If the suit makes it to trial, KC's testimony will have to be heard. And is it correct that this will go to trial unless it's settled out of court, or it's thrown out of court?

I don't know....then why didn't CA or GA plead the 5th in their ZG depo? Especially CA because a lot of the questions had to do with her knowledge. Every time she refused to answer the question BC would tell her she had to answer. She was threatened with contempt IIRC

I have not read that deposition.

Was she protecting herself or protecting Casey is what I'd want to know.

You cannot use the 5th amendment to avoid incriminating somebody else.

It doesn't work that way.

Please don't let that Dr. Phil promo fool you. They got tons of e-mail blasting the show for having the Anthony's on because they lie. They know they had to show Dr. Phil being harsh with the Anthony's in order to get their viewers back.Who wouldn't love to see someone finally challenge them?
BUT They paid for this interview to get high ratings. High ratings brings in more money for the show from ads.
Dr. Phil is famous for back pedaling. He'll turn it around and be sympathetic ."I don't think you're a bad person,you just ended up in a bad situation" :sick:

Anything of interest said on the show will be reported .We won't miss anything by not watching ,IMO.

I'm waiting for the depos to be done to see if Morgan attaches Cindy to the suit. You better believe he's watching every interview to hear what they have to say ,now.

I know this is slightly OT...but I saw that promo clip briefly, and am I crazy or was Cindy wearing 2 different outfits? I don't want to have to go and actually watch the clip...so if anyone can tell me, it would be very much appreciated.

How long does it take for decision on the appeal? DT filed the appeal, if I remember right, the Friday before she got out of jail. Maybe it will be decided before the depo and there ya go

I wish I was smart enough to explain it, they were talking about that on HLN. Something to the effect if they are only trying to "lump" the convictions, she can not plead the fifth; however, if they are refuting the videotapes of her lies, there is room to plead the fifth as it would open the door to a new trial. I hope someone can explain it better.

So they're waiting to file the appeal until after the depo? It it possible that the judge won't allow for that type of scheming?
