ZFG Civil Case: Casey's Deposition #2

Well, the statute of limitations doesn't START running until you lie under oath. So if she lies under oath 10 years from now, then the statute of limitations would start, and the state would have 3 years to prosecute.

That sounds so good to hear that, but then I got to thinking.
What can be used to prove that she lies under oath if all her statements have been lies anyway? She has never testified and probably this pending appeal will be able to prevent her from testifying during any of these civil cases.

She sure has LG. It makes my heart feel good for Caylee when I learn that OCA still has much to deal with and hopefully she will never make one more red cent off of Caylee. It also makes my heart feel good to know that she just may have to accept Larry Flint's offer after all and that we wont have to read or listen to her lies.

It's easy to be slim and cellulite free up to your early 20's but after than - most of us have to work at it or live with it - whichever makes us the happiest.

Sitting on one's butt doesn't make it - there just isn't that much photoshop out there!:great:

I don't want to take this thread WAAAYY off topic, but I heard this broadcast of Websleuths radio live back in August (link above) and chuckle to myself about it every time someone mentions the KC Hustler "spread". I keep thinking I should post about this , so now I will since it is mentioned in a post above :floorlaugh:

According to Beth Karas, starting @ approx. 12:40 min. into the above broadcast, Beth states that according to Larry Flynt and his wife Liz (who Beth was having dinner with), OCA's people "reached out" to Flynt, not the other way around. THEN Flynt made his offer.

from the broadcast: the Flynt's told Beth "that they were approached by Casey Anthony's people, Flynt did not go to her." Casey's people, according to the Flynts (Larry's wife called Beth to advise Beth of this), came to the Flynt Publications PR person -- Beth was in LA with Larry and his wife Liz and the coauthor of Larry's book that came out back around the time of this broadcast. Larry's PR person is the one who was called by Casey's people and asked if there was any interest in a spread of OCA in Hustler magazine. Flynt has gone public since then about his offer to OCA, he went on Nancy Grace that same day (I somehow actually saw Flynt on NG when he was one, lol), and then Flynt said he extended an offer after that after hearing from men on his book tour that they would be interested in seeing this.

Now mind you, I am just repeating what Beth Karas told the host of Websleuths radio on August 21, but I happen to believe this.

Beth then said before she went on to another topic that she would find out of Flynt's offer still stands, or if he has withdrawn it. I have not listened to Websleuths radio since (but I plan to this Sunday!), so I have no idea if she has mentioned anything further, or not.

So one month after OCA gets out of jail, nobody is knocking in her door with bags of cash, her "people" are out trying to sell HER, as she was and is still toxic.

OCA is going to have one HECK of a time getting any large amount of $$ in the U.S. at this point. She may get one TV interview, but I think it has to be after her probation or at least after these civil trials are done and finished one way or another, which may be a long way off, settled or to trial, and the $$ is NOT going to be as much as her and JB EVER thought. A little before 12:40 min. when Beth starts talking about the Flynt stuff, she talks about OCA having a possible interview deal on European soil early on when she was supposed out in CA right after the verdict but that fell through at around this same time.

I imagine on that day of the acquittal visions of sugarplums and large amounts of cash were dancing in JB and OCA's head, but all for naught, as it ain't happening, and that is just great. :great:

I was feeling all "distressed" after reading the summary in Time magazine of OCA's trial as the #1 over exposed media event of the year.

Now after reading what you wrote - I am definitely feeling amazingly cheerful tonight - so thank you!!!

InSession is covering the ZFG hearing happening today. They just aired part of a hostile Cindy's deposition from April 2009. I cannot believe I ever, even for a millisecond felt sorry for that woman... :sick:

Just turned on HLN In Session watching CA in her hostile depo of Apr 09 . . . CA saying "don't be condesending to me". . . . . regarding pictures of ZFG shown to KC. . . . HLN saying KC didn't have the right to plead the 5th.

Hearing is supposed to start at 10:45 according to WFTV.com. I wonder if this is when TM's attorney will join in.

The attorneys representing Zenaida Gonzalez will be back in court, trying to force Casey to talk.

Hearing coming up @ 10:45 EST . . . HLN will be covering live. Sunni H. on HLN stating KC could still be charged with slander against ZFG and that is why she could invoke the 5th. Sunni H feels this is a "fishing expedition" and she feels the TES lawsuit is also a fishing exp. as well. Sunni feel TES was a volunteer effort and doesn't believe there was a legal contract that KC and TES signed, stating in volunteer efforts you can lose money and time and resources.

KC has been acquitted of some charges . . . ie: the murder, but could still be charged with criminal defamation. KC still has some criminal prosecution exposure so she should be allowed to plead 5th (according to Sunni H on HLN).

Last poll taken found KC to be the most hated women in America and she is still @ risk and will be for some time per Sunni's perspective.

In Session covering hearing live . . . . ZFG Atty arguing why KC should not plead 5th on depo . . . .playing clips of jailhouse video between KC and CA discussing pictures of ZFG and KC asking for a sketch artist for ZTN. CA discussing with MSM that KC was never shown picture of ZTN.

Judge Lisa Munyon asking questions . . . way in which KC invoked 5th . . .claimed her 5th to not implicate 5th priviledge . . . . doesn't believe she has right to plead 5th. Court said this has been settled for 50 years. . . . does it apply? Case law on how it applies in this particular case. She could be further criminated and jeapordy could apply. Aside from trial, KC served her time. . . . what scenario under which she appeals and is successful for appeal or has a basis for appeal. Whether KC should be forced to talk about what happened to Caylee.

Arguing to court that KC doesn't have a basis for appeal . . . insufficient evidence? how could that be? they stated all throughout that this was made up . . . it was all lies! When does the appeal end? Does it go to supreme court? Another 3, 5 or 10 years as all other cases can go on. Saying that we will compromise their client when they have already admitted these were lies? . . . . non sufficient evidence? wasn't there a waiver in this case? didn't you already say this was all lies? If there should have been 4 instead of 1 charge . . . that doesn't impact their case. . . . these are directly relevant in this case . . .(judge nods) . . . punitive damages. For 2 1/2 years she had her time in court and her case was dealt with in court and we have waited . . . how does that apply to our case? Judge says record of appeal hasn't even been filed and may be extended to Janurary. This case goes to trial in April. . . . how then does she get benefit of the doubt every time when our clients rights have been put on back burner.

Judicial (estople?) position in previous case this was all a lie . . . now in this case this was not all a lie? Only way to flush out lies is to take a deposition . . . . fundamentally inconsistent to do that in our case. . . . . what the basis of these lies was and what lies was she telling her Mother?

How could the civil case against the woman in Kissimmee cause her further time ? . . . she has already done the time. . . . . .. questions were very specific. KC would not answer why she lied to her mother about seeing the picture of ZFG? Last time she saw child alive? In opening statement her counsel said the child drowned. . . . what is the truth? Why and when did she lie? Circumstances in this particular case . . . her 5th amendment should not apply in getting more complete answers in a depo.
