So - ICA had been using this name in the past, at least in 2006 when JG's dad remembers hearing it - and this ZG just happened to look at the Sawgrass Apartments at the same time that ICA says she dropped Caylee off there. Then she gets sucked into this mess.

O/T, but I found all the stuff again about the ZG traffic tickets and for the life of me can't remember how that fit in to things.

In my opinion:
Since Casey Anthony was not found guilty - her lies and false allegations still stand.

Since, Casey Anthony has not formally retracted her false statements and allegations against this lady, known as "Zanny the Nanny" in a court-of-law.... I believe this lady has every right, and she deserves, to have her name cleared from Casey Anthony's deceitful, hurtful, vicious lies.

I have no reason to believe this law firm would bring a false law suit on behalf of their client. I will accept that the press release below, by this law firm is true and accurate, unless it's proven to be false:

Morgan and Morgan has filed a subpoena to question Casey Anthony in a civil defamation case filed by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. The firm served Anthony the subpoena at the Orange County Jail on Tuesday night, demanding that she appear at the firm’s Orlando office on July 19 at 10 a.m.


The defamation case filed by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez stems from Anthony’s accusations that a nanny by the same name kidnapped her daughter, Caylee. When the two-year-old child disappeared in June 2008, Anthony told authorities that her daughter was in the custody of a babysitter by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez, who she referred to as “Zanny the Nanny.” Investigators questioned Gonzalez of Kissimmee, who has denied ever meeting the Anthonys and later filed the defamation suit, but quickly found she had nothing to do with the case. The babysitter who Anthony referred to as Zanny was never found.


In handling the defamation case against Anthony, Morgan and Morgan seeks to recover compensation for damages suffered by Gonzalez as a result of these false accusations. According to the local Florida woman, she was unable to find work and was ostracized after Anthony claimed that a woman by the same name kidnapped her daughter Caylee.


The Gonzalez v. Anthony defamation suit was put on hold until the conclusion of the criminal trial, which acquitted Anthony of murdering her daughter. The civil suit is expected to go to trial in August. Casey got off by lying, it would be funny now if she is held accountable for something she didn't do by someone lying. Poetic justice? Casey Anthony perverted the law and now someone is doing it to her, it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

As with this case, the check fraud case and the trial - Casey Anthony takes it as far as she has - it could have ended 3 years ago.

I believe there is a very specific reason (as there was with the check fraud case) that Baez and his client didn't resolve the issue.

ZG's attorneys admitted that "Fernandez" was not her middle name, but they ADDED that to her name when they filed the Complaint. Then in early 2009 they took the "Fernandez" out of their filings with the court.

Morgan admits that the person Casey accused was NEVER found, that the person Casey accused (not his client) had the same name, that his client was quickly cleared, and then he conveniently omits the Fernandez from the name Casey gave to LE.

While I'd love to see Casey lose this case, I don't really see where this ZFG has a leg to stand on.

But, she pled the 5th.

No, IMO the travesty is someone making this sort of accusation without having one shred of proof to back it up! Considering what Casey Anthony has put this woman through, TES through, Law Enforcement through, the people of Orange County through, and the people across this country through, I cannot believe anyone would feel the need to attack this woman. She is yet another victim in all of this. I've respected any/all opinions here regarding the verdict, whether I agreed or not, but I find these posts attacking ZFG downright embarrassing for WS's. JMO~

ICA deserves any and all lawsuits coming her way, justified or not. As well as any other form of bad karma she has coming her way. Too bad, so sad. Like she said she's got the good life now and I highly doubt she's going to get any sympathy.

IMO she'll be lucky if she survives a week on the outside.

Just went to FB and found a ton of Zenaida Gonzalez' dont see them suing Casey do you? Somehow they all managed to work and make a living in the last three years!

I don't think she will die within a week. I do however think one day she will get slick with the wrong people and pay with her life. Either that or she ends up back in the slammer after stealing again.
