I'm glad ZG is suing! It's not a matter of not identifying this particular ZG, Casey and the entire Anthony family has dragged the name, ZFG, through the mud, to the point where anyone with that name is automatically suspect.

I hope the lawsuit is all encompassing, as the Anthony family as a whole has repeated Casey's lie about ZFG as a fact.
I'm now imagining every ZG or ZFG in FL joining in and this can become a class action suit! (tongue somewhat in cheek).

You go girl!!!!

Not defending Casey.......but she also said ZFG was 25, no kids, going to school, lived in apt., had two roomates.......so does any of this fit the now *suing* ZG ??

It doesn't. It was reported that ZG got many job offers after he recent interview. I wonder if she took one of them.

I can promise he's already aware of this Website. ;)

I am sure his ofice staff know as much about this case as we do..... I do not think he would take this case if he did not think he had a case even knowing his background.... he wants the MEDIA ATTENTION as well, but he chose his client knowing all the facts.... JB did not!!!

maybe ZG can get the $2 million from the Lifetime Movie the A's are going to allow to have made.

Fortunately, a civil case like this only calls for a 'preponderance of the evidence,' which means the jury, if there is one, would only have to decide which version of what will be presented in court is more believable. And if they introduce character witnesses who attest to the history of the person involved, like KC, I suspect we'll see a lot of the people who've been mentioned in this case will be there as witnesses for ZG -- attesting to all the lies KC tells. Short version: hey, jury, who do you think's more likely to be telling the truth: A. ZG; B. KC. My vote? A.

I don't expect this suit will ever go in front of a jury. A judge will throw it out when ZG's lawyer can't show that Casey named HER as the kidnapper.

But she does claim that in her statement of that she dropped off caylee on a a date when ZG was actually there. Casey claims to know a ZG, at the sawgrass apartment, on June 17th. She doesn't say THIS women was the ZG she is talking about but that doesn't mean anything because that is easily fabricated. I can very easily say i never spoke to someone, but if there's a recorded message of me doing so, then it can't be lied about. Casey and this ZG can SAY they don't know each other all they want, but Casey places them both there on the same day at the same place and ZG confirms she was indeed there. Casey may never have been there, but SOMETHING happened that Casey WAS made aware that ZG was there, on that specific date.

And now they BOTH make money off this child's disappearance. HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS.

What day was ZG there? What day did Casey SAY she was there?

A judge will first have to decide if the suit has any merit, before it ever gets to a jury.

It's possible that Casey never saw ZG but did see her card or info or something at Sawgrass and used that identifying info to make up her story about Zanny the nanny. This scenario would correlate with why Casey did not identify a pic of the real ZG when police showed her several pix to choose from. I wonder if other ZG or ZFG are also experiencing problems in their daily lives as a result of their name being associated with this case?

Yeah, we may be in the minority, but I totally agree with you. This particular ZG has not been implicated by either OCSO or KC. So, should all the other ZGs in Central FL or the whole state (or even the entire US) file suit as well?

I personally think this is a person who is just trying to see how she can benefit from this awful situation. The comments about the attorney being an "ambulance-chaser" substantiates this, for me.

JMHO.

PROFIT....................................If she wanted to make money she could have sold her story...has she NO.... she has received many threats. I do not believe she is in it for the money like the other people who roge the GLOBE BUS..... She could have contacted a tabloid months ago and SOLD HER story, DID SHE?

He's got the facts because we gave them to his client! I trust that the attorney representing ZG knows what he's doing... :blowkiss:

Some of us on the donations thread suggested that she sue. I won't state our reasons why because I don't want to go off topic. But just so everyone knows, ZG never even thought about suing until we suggested it.

I have no idea what the outcome will be, but I personally feel if an experienced, respected attorney thinks he has a case, I say go for it. I can't think of a better person to sue.

I agree. I also sent her a message a while back (as i'm sure many have) stating that I hoped she was thinking about taking legal action.

Or they may settle out of court... I trust her lawyer knows what he's doing...

Well, ya can't get blood from a turnip.

Well if her little movie or book deal comes to fruition, or she gets any other funds they will be able to snag on it! Go ZG!!!!!!!!!

Actually, she was shown about a dozen pics. To be honest, we've "used" her name more than Casey. She actually came forward on her own and acknowledged the connection. I think everyone here knows how I feel about Casey. I'm just not sure this will work.
PS- this would be like the Rockefellers suing that guy up in Mass. Hey I wonder if they are?

But why were we using it?

You know, I forgot to put that part in my post! But, I respectfully disagree that a judge will just dismiss it. And at least I get a little comfort from knowing that someone will have to do something if they want this case to go away. Judges don't just dismiss; I believe someone has to make a motion to that effect. As as far as the jury thing goes, just for clarification, I realize civil cases can be tried solely by a judge, but I full expect Z's attorney demanded trial by jury.
