I tried to brighten and sharpen Lurline's photo. I am sure someone else can do a much better job.

I can see she is wearing mascara or appears to be anyway. I also think she may be seated in front of a door as the door knob is just above her shoulder. The top she is wearing is askew and hard to tell if the other shoulder is faded out due to lighting or what.

Her hair style appears very closely cropped on one side while longer on the other side. I don't know if that is a particular style for that era. Could someone have cut her hair and snapped a photo midway thru. It is an odd style that doesn't appear polished, more like something is going on that isn't right, is just the impression I get.

I have often thought this pic was taken in the hospital (?) IMO, it looks like she is wearing a hospital gown. Lurline does have a surgical scar to her head above her ear...this could explain the haircut and origin of photo.
This pic, besides the artist renderings, are the only ones I have come across. It would be incredibly helpful if more photos were put out there of Lurline! Someone knows something...
