If the parents aren't continually asking for the public's help and to alert if anyone sees Isa, it should tell us something. Are the parents trying to get Isa home or are they being kind of passive about it?

What do these parents know? Think they know Isa is no longer alive and there's nothing to do but wait and see if LE discovers where her body is? Think maybe they are in a wait and see mode if this whole thing eventually dies down like it did in other cases and then they resume their lives?

No. The newer meters (and even many of the old ones, like mine) are remotely read. No more meter readers in most all areas of town that I'm aware of.

We just got a remote-read meter a couple months ago on an older home in central Tucson, and at least some of my neighbors have them, too. I'd think the Celis home, being newer, would be remote-read.

I dont think Isa can come home!
I think they know and are responsible!

Is this someone's comment on a FB page and which one. TIA

Not a FB page, but the official (family?) website: http://bringisahome.com/

Circumstances

Isabel Mercedes Celis's parents put her to bed on the night of Friday, April 20th around 11pm. Mom woke up before everyone else, got ready for work and left around 6:30am. Dad woke up shortly after and went to wake the children. It was around 8am when he noticed Isa was not in her room. At that time the police were notified. A screen from one of the windows was compromised, the blinds had been shoved aside.

Well, I agree with LE not doing that, but......

What if the cleaning crew had been the ones to initially find some message written on the closet wall, and they tipped off LE.

I can totally see one of the cleaning crew telling a cousin, who told a neighbor, etc.

I really don't put too much value on this "message" thing, anyhoo, but wanted to weigh in on how a leak might have happened. :). JMO

Just bouncing off your post, as I agree about the lack of value in the message rumor..

IMO these alleged LE "leaks" are all "rumors." Perhaps I could buy maybe a rogue US Marshall, TPD detective, or even FBI Agent who "spilled the beans to a gossipy wife" whose friends and friends of friends are all putting that tidbit online.
However, it seems to be more than one wife from what we've heard, and many more than one tidbit.

LE has been tightlipped for a month. These people are professionals. If anything did leak, it would be so easy to trace the internet trail. And as at least one poster suggested in an earlier thread, IMO they need to fire someone. I just doubt that any of these rumors are actually LE leaks. IMO leaking evidentiary information on an active case is akin to a doctor talking about a patient by name while off work. I won't ever talk about my students in any detail. I mean really? We pay our LE. I want them all fired if all of these people on the internet spreading these rumors are their close friends or relatives. IMO

I would bet my last dollar that the questions about "a note in closet" asked by a reporter or two at the last presser came from internet "tips." Someone online saw the Sergio interview part about "writing on the wall" and speculated that Isa might have written something, and then it took a life of its own down the wire. Many other of these alleged leaks are simply bad reporting. We have traced down the trail of a few of those here. IMO

If in any way shape or form any part of this note in closet thing is true, someone needs to be fired IMO.

Seriously, if Hawke did not know about it when asked in the presser, and it was obvious she did not, I doubt any part is true.

What is the "official" family FB page run soley by the family?

The FB page Find Isabel Mercedes Celis is run by: This page is being run primarily by www.broadcasthemissing.us with updates from family and media

Normally families have their own FB pages when their child is missing and controlled by them.

I don't know, no. I live quite a distance from the Celis' neighborhood. If there was an outage, it was likely minor and didn't appear to make the news. Although minor outages are not uncommon here (like when Joe Goat Roper accidentally drives into a power pole), and larger outages quite common during the monsoons.

I believe someone from the scanner forum mentioned there had been a power outage briefly in that general area but not the Celis home during the night in question.

So we are now in the 5th week? I don't understand Isa's mother staying out of the press. I would be all over the place!

Did you miss the videos of her at the vigil on Sat.?

What time is the presser today? tia

Thank you. :blowkiss:

I see the narrative under circumstance and feel that they aren't really sure about the time that RC left, and never stated the time that SC went to wake Isa. IMO, pretty generic narrative.

I thought that floor plan was generated by the media. LE hasn't released anything with regards to what they are using.

If it was released by the media, does that mean this 'floor plan' was commonly used or at least used by that builder. The house next to us was broken into 3x in about 9 months, always through the side door on the garage, once before the new people moved in. We always thought it was either someone who knew the previous owner or just knew all these houses have the same floor plan and knew the weak spot. The house on the other side of us was also broken into when it was up for sale - yes, that's a 'welcome' sign to burglars - but I believe, again, they knew the weak entry point or one of them anyway.

Of course, I assume burglars are pretty adept at scoping out possibilities anyway.

hm. this may or may not be disturbing...at the beginning of press conference 1, BC states ""Hi, we just wanted to let you guys know we have tremendous gratitude toward Detective Sabori and his elite team..."

well, detective tony sabori used to lead the sex crimes unit, and currently heads the internet predator team. ??? i wonder if this is protocol for a missing child?

Time, the house behind them on the other side of the alley is the same exact floorplan, same design.

Looking at Google history over years, and the county information on the lot, all of the other homes around the neighborhood have been there for years.

Just interesting, I thought. Someone could know the Celis floorplan if someone had been in the other house.

Patty to me, there should not be a discrepancy what time she left for work or it should be easy to figure out given the time or day traffic etc. No doubt she would have to punch-in in some fashion at work. Even if she stopped for gas, there would be a record. If there is a 1/2 question on when she left, that would raise a red flag to me and "6:30" maybe key.

It is not a large website under "contact us," it states it is run by family and co-workers. Perhaps RC or SC haven't check it after all? Not sure what to make of it.

This is a generic floor plan, that appears to be created by the media based on a "blueprint" type floor plan the media found online through property records.

There may not be footprints in the yard...the 'dirt' here is like cement in most places, it's called caliche and can't get a print off that stuff. Sometimes there is loose gravel on top of that and maybe you could get something from that but not much

I agree, it is important to know the time that RC left for work in order to see if it ties in with the dogs barking ~6:30 AM.

If RC arrived at work at 7:00 AM, then that would validate the VP of the center where RC works claiming she was in very early that morning.

The department is called (at least it was a few years ago that I can find so far)

Crimes Against Persons Division's (CAPD) Sex Offender Registration and Tracking Unit (SORT).

Not sure I understand your question because I think it would absolutely be protocol in a missing child investigation. Who would abduct a child except a sexual predator? Maybe I am not understanding your post. jmo

In one of the early press conferences, Chief Villasenor or Lt Pacheco (can't remember off hand which one) stated that many officers from different departments had to be taken off their normal duties to help in Isa's case. I'm not sure if Det. Sabori is still on Isa's case or if he has been placed back on his regular detail, but I definitely recall them saying they had to pull extra officers from other units to help.
