IMO what these two cases have in common is that in order to find the defendant not guilty, you have to make a perp out of the victim. Apparently, if there are no other witnesses, that is not such a difficult thing to do. Very sad that the victim's family then has to be subjected to such...

Some people get out of their vehicle and end up dead. IMO you should call 911 and then stay in your vehicle. If the suspicious person circles your vehicle, you should drive off to a safer place. But like I've said before, "I'm such a girl." :blushing:

See, IMO the fact he says he wouldn't do anything differently is just incredulous. Really?! You are being charged with the murder of an unarmed 17 year-old, and you are good with that?! Wow.

IMO You are correct. GZ was fearful right then. IMO he probably thought TM would put his hands up and do what he was told to do not freak out and start (according to which witness you believe) whining, running, arguing, sucker punching, and/or screaming bloody murder.

I agree with one exception. IMO starting a fight should not be an excuse for someone killing you.

IMO I don't think he wanted to kill TM. That would have shown premeditation and called for a higher charge being brought.

IMO the problem with this case is the State of Florida sent in the bench at tip-off. :facepalm:

What's worse is he did it to try and cover up for just (virtually because he stopped himself ) calling the jury stupid. "We color coded it for ya in case . . ." and then he holds up a timeline that looks like a grade schooler made it. :facepalm:
