NE - Omaha Double Murder #3 - *Arrest Made*

I've always thought this case could have sexual undertones. Tom could have easily been duped into something by an older man and then threatened to expose him to his parents or the authorities. To me, this seemed like a preplanned murder of vengeance or fear of exposure to the community...

Nancy Grace to be on DWTS

I think the show would be better and much more honest if they'd let us vote on who we want booted off.

GUILTY TX - Greg Williams, 40, shot to death in his bed, Keller, 13 Oct 2011

I noticed a "For Lease" sign in the yard of the house in the photos. Sounds to me like they might have been in financial distress and not paying their rent.

Nancy Grace to be on DWTS

I thought I was watching the Pillsbury Dough Boy the way she was stuffed into that costume.

GUILTY TX - Greg Williams, 40, shot to death in his bed, Keller, 13 Oct 2011

Her husband commits suicide and she fakes an intrusion and hits herself with a wrench. Come on! I'm not buying it! Most likely, they got into a fight, he smacked her, she waited for him to go to sleep and then she shot him. They probably had a fight that lasted into the night. If...

NE - Omaha Double Murder #3 - *Arrest Made*

With these murders happening in one of the most affluent neighborhoods of Omaha, it has always surprised me that the people living there are not more vocal about the ineptitude of the local police department to solve these crimes.

It could be a case of "not wanting to rock the boat" for the former Police Chief if his retirement was near, especially if it had any CU or political implications that might uncover something shocking to the community.

Another reason for using knives is they are silent. No noise to attract neighbors.

NE - Omaha Double Murder #3 - *Arrest Made*

IMO, there is something wrong with a police department who cannot solve a double homicide that happened in broad daylight in a residential neighborhood after 3 1/2 years and yet refuses to release any information on their investigation that might refresh or jog someone's memory. Did they...

I just wish the OPD would divulge a few clues. They seem bent on never saying anything about this case even though it's growing colder each day.

NE - Omaha Double Murder #3 - *Arrest Made*

Hi WM: I've always thought the briefcase (if the man at the door was the killer) contained knives to be used in the murders. It could also have been taken there to conceal anything the killer took from the home. I still think blackmail could have been the reason for the killings. Tom...

NE - Omaha Double Murder #3 - *Arrest Made*

The fact that nothing was taken from the house in this case is HUGE to me. This makes it appear to be more of a rage, revenge or hired killing. And with the relatively short span of time from the time Tom got home until his father got home makes that even more apparent to me. Someone went...

Imperfect Justice-Prosecuting Casey Anthony by Jeff Ashton

I think a better title for the book would be IMPERFECT PROSECUTION. After all, they had weeks to convince the jurors that the defendant was guilty and they were unable to accomplish that.

Imperfect Justice-Prosecuting Casey Anthony by Jeff Ashton

All I can tell you is that his actions totally turned me "off". He was practically "high-fiving" it as he walked into the courtroom to hear the verdict only to find out they'd lost. And then he was on the first plane to NYC to be on TV (which was probably pre-arranged thinking he would be...

You can call it the way you want, but in the eyes of the law the defense won the case.
