One of the regular posters here WAS in email contact with Caroline T several years ago. There's a thread here somewhere about it. She was not at the RFK shows at all & denies involvement in helping him out. There was some speculation at one point that maybe she felt guilty b/c he "missed...
Disposed means it has completed the legal process, and there is no further action needed by the courts, or by the person. This happens when the court issues a verdict, and the person completes whatever payment/sentence is imposed.
via Google search for "What does disposed mean regarding...
In one of the other threads here, someone was in direct contact with the Carolines via email many years ago. Will search for a link to post for you to the nature of the interaction.
I don't know how to quote within a quote, but my comment about "familiar with the name" came from DD AFTER the quote above was stated. In other words, a LOT has happened today. CUE posted the more current info on Facebook. (Don't think we're allowed to cut/paste from FB per TOS.)
Just sloppy reporting. That statement is misquoted from what CUE sent out earlier today. The mom, Dawn D (not Chad/Dad), stated that she was "familiar with the arrested dude's name from the LE who told her early in the case" NOT from personal experience.

2 Taylors implicated in that crime, another Taylor today, I'm thinking there are a long list of women in their lives who have been terrified to say anything for a long, long time.
Lots more local media info on the arrest. DETAILS. BRB with links. OMG!

"Stolen vehicle suspected in a Charleston County homicide."
Also possible connection to the Crystal Gail Soles case. OMG
Ate at the Seewee Restaurant in Awendaw last night. Her picture is still posted on their front door.
Did not notice it in either of the gas stations where we stopped, on either side of 17. Could have been there & not seen it.
Just as an aside, b/c I DO NOT know this info about...

Just for some documentation: last paragraph, CT named as part of Wharf Rats, FWIW, date 1995
Not speculating--just basing it on the early reports of local LE conducting interviews last Dec at Georgetown County HS, then several months later the release of info that the POIs were identified to LE (not to us) by Jan. The timing seems logical.
But, no, I have no special info other than...
In the beginning, I thought this was straight up*: she was supposed to buy the drugs for her cohorts, the dealers took her instead, things went downhill quickly.
What I can't figure out is how highschool-ish aged (or people who hang out with highschool aged people) people at Georgetown HS...
I'd be curious about the fancy PRIVATE hunting/fishing clubs in the land around the river, that wealthy people from other parts of the state often have in Georgetown. Not ones that are advertised or in the phone book, but the ones where people privately organize themselves (usually on "old...
I've thought about Eric, the driver, all day. I think we'll find out more about him and the details that led up to the wreck via facebook friends from hs in Inman and college friends of his fm Carolina. It would be nice if we knew if he had any siblings and if he was in a fraternity or band or...
Based on the info that (M)EH, the driver, went to USC in Columbia, I'm going to guess that Jason Doe went to Carolina & bummed a ride based on a sticker on the van or gamecocks hat or something. I think the Carolines either were girls from USC, too, or from Queens College (now Univ) in...
I think that the JB you mention is JAB noted in the obit for his grandmother. He now lives in Henderson, NC & has had some sort of legal judgment re a foreclosure, but I couldn't understand the legalese in the newspaper article. BRB with links.
Obit for grandmother of a JB from RR, don't...

Interesting info about the family who bought Hopsewee & turned it over to the land trust.
