In all my years of reading and following cases I don't think I have ever heard of someone stealing a baby because they thought it was someone elses baby. Do you know of any? TIA

Frankly because certain tail lights can be on lots of different models.

They can date a car by tail lights, bumpers ect and not have a specific model.

I would be more than happy to prove it was my child and not a missing child. Then I would thank the people who were concerned enough to approach and ask questions. Heck I would probably pay for their meal.
