My only comment is that although one of GG's former girlfriends alleges abuse and police have video of the incident (from a few years ago), no charges have been filed.

Have you found that source yet?

I've watched bits and pieces of the GG interview on ABC - who are the three guys standing behind he and JB.

Let's wait to see the paperwork ... was it indeed a situation where buying his own travel insurance, his travel companion was included in the paperwork or not.

I have never seen it work that way. I have bought travelers insurance while traveling with other people, and i have never been forced to insure them as well. Nor have I ever taken out a million dollar life insurance policy on a traveling companion that I barely knew.

Bolded by me-

Giordano is still a suspect in this case, that is why he does not tell his story, it is not in his best interest and his lawyer would have advised him not to do so.

Imagine he would go tell the beach-snorkeling story, the story we have read over and over again, nothing new there if he would tell it again, but given the circumstances he was in, being on television, having his children stand behind him, the host in front of him who may interrupt him at any moment, having been in jail for 4 months, being fed up yet having the desire for people to believe him, there were a number of factors present that could have led to him saying something just to be liked better (like "yes I did look back" while he didn't) or because he was interrupted, or because he would want his sons to be proud of him.
There was a risk he would contradict himself and since he is still a suspect he cannot risk that, even if he would want to Baez would step in immediately. IMO

Exactly, he is the only suspect. So why is he going on national television looking like a total *advertiser censored* who obviously cares nothing about Robyn's disappearance, only about himself. JMO.

Ummm, he is not in prison....because he also knows the pictures are not proof of murder - in fact, these pictures were probably a way for someone sleazy, like GG, to say Robyn was asking for something sordid to happen to her.

Wouldn't you expect that men planning murder would do everything to avoid attracting attention to themselves ... taking lewd "modeling" photos shortly before committing murder, and leaving those photos on the camera for easy discovery, seem inconsistant with premeditated murder ... or murder for insurance money.

...not to mention ABC probably paid a pretty penny for the "exclusive" and his lawyer, Mr Baez, should have given him the DL on protocol when being bought by the networks.

Baez is an ambulance chaser looking to cash in on the media dollars.

There is a big difference between being a strong swimmer once, and being a strong swimmer now. There is also a big difference between knowing how to swim, and being a strong swimmer.

I'm assuming that once a strong swimmer, always a strong swimmer. I see it as a bit like riding a bike ... it's not something that people forget how to do.

He does not seem like the kind of guy that likes to stay under the radar. He is kind of a narcissist imo.

And leaving those pictures was a perfect move. He was trying to devalue her, imo.

How can you totally dismiss his past? Even in a court of law the defendent gets the benefit of the doubt if they don't have a prior history. GG has so much history you could write a book about it. To dismiss his abuse against other woman is ludicrious! It's a pattern, just like other's who's husbands or boyfriends have abused them and then finally when they decide to leave (restraining order or no restraining order) they are killed.

It's unfortunate that there are the only convictions against GG are theft related. Violence charges were filed, but for some reason they were dropped.

Other womens complaints have nothing to do with this case.

He can be a liar, a pervert, a scam artist, a pornographer, and generally an unlikable jerk---That doesn't make him a murderer.

There could be some truth to this. Unfortunately, anyone with all of these tendencies also leans towards someone who has little to no conscience. This type of person is also quite likely to be of the sociopathic personality type. Which can also make him more likely to be a murderer. JMO

He's not married and probably for that very reason. jmo

He does have three children and all the assoicated entrapments ... if he was inclined towards murder for insurance, he may choose a woman on a virtual pickup joint, hit her up for lewd "modeling" photos and insure her for a million before making her completely vanish off the coast of Aruba, but given the risks, he's be better off murdering a spouse.

He had followed the Holloway case and may have believed Nancy Grace when she claimed, loud and wide, that Aruban investigators were bumbling fools.

GG didn't have insurnace money on Robyn, he had taken out travel insurance for their Aruban trip ... bit of a difference. If his motive was to murder her for travel insurance money, why did he leave such a sordid trail of exploitation in his wake ... like the sexually explicit incriminating photos on his camera.

He's a sleezy guy, but he's not stupid.

Maybe not, but I personally think he has a documented history of aggression and what appears to be rage disorder. What else do you need to believe he could have done something to end Robyn's life?

.....and exactly how does their "alleged" claims make GG guilty of murdering RG

Ok! I know I am no ones favorite poster right now, and that's ok. All I am trying to do is play devils advocate.

GG is not a good guy, I get it. But after 4 months in an Aruban prison and countless interrogations Arubam authorities have seen fit to release him on lack of evidence, How is it a court of law cannot find enough evidence to convict him, but you can be so sure he is guilty of murder....just because he is a jerk to women. (and yes I did get this from the Casey Anthony defense)--it was the one thing in that whole mess that actually made sense to me.
So yell at me all you want , until there is some new evidence I will give this guy the benefit of the doubt, sorry .

I just can't in all good consciousness give a man that has such sociopathic tendencies the benefit of the doubt in this situation. I personally see that as being diametrically opposed. JMO

I have no problem with you, I disagree with your posts - in particular leaving out "abuser" on your list of short-comings as regards GG.

Of course they don't have enough evidence - unless there's a video of the murder, with sound and a date stamp, there's no evidence. The Aruban justice system is a joke. Their primary source of income is mired in sex trafficking and cocaine - and that only happens when there's government involvement.

I get where you're coming from though, had it not been for "devil's advocates", Casey Anthony would be settling in for the night with her unlucky cell mate right about now.

Murder charges do not require video with sound and date. They were founded in solid evidence long before the invention of video. This case is a big "if".

The Aruban justice system is different from the system in the US. In fact, most national justice systems are different than the non-national nuances in the justice systems in different states in the US! What the heck is the US doing with it's United states that can't agree on how to interpret their justice systems ... some have full media coverage of discovery while others think it's a good idea to kill mentally retarded teenagers that commit a crime; some practice an eye for an eye, like Muslim, others not. At least the Aruban justice system is consistent, is based in history and is similar to several other western countries.

Don't believe everything GG says ... check the facts ... Aruba's major source of income is tourism, not what GG said on TV reality Baez nonsense.

New thread coming right up. Be sure to copy your post before hitting submit, just in case I close this thread while you are typing.

But the truth doesn't have versions. jmo

The truth does have versions in the US. In Florida, a true understanding of the truth requires full disclosure, in Tennessee it means minimal disclosure ... different state, different interpretation of the constitution and law. In Kansas, people are entitled to see their birth certificate, in Missouri, they can't ... US justice is all over the planet ... from eye for an eye to compassion, from facts to perceptions ... it's absurd.

How do you explain his telling the ticket agent, after knowing Robyn had disappeared, that she was taking another flight? I'm sort of stuck on that one.

I suppose that he knew she was missing and assumed that if she was going to take a flight, it would be another flight.

What should he have said ... that she was missing? That would have alerted authorities, who were already alerted ... how should he explain that a missing woman will not be getting on the plane?
