  • Jessica Zrinski was last seen on November 25
  • She is know to frequent southwest Sydney
  • Her uncle pleaded for her to come home
  • Police hold 'grave concern' for her welfare

The heartbroken uncle of a southwest Sydney woman who disappeared 56 days ago has pleaded for her to come home.

Jessica Zrinski, 30, was last seen in person in the Bossley Park area on Friday November 25, 2022, and was reported missing a week later on December 3.

Her uncle Vlad Zrinski choked back tears during a press conference on Friday, saying Jessica 'struggled a bit with mental health issues but she's still part of our loving family'.

'She's a beautiful girl. She has a great soft personality. Everyone who meets her is drawn to her,' he said.

'Honey, if you're watching by any chance, please come home. We love you.'

NSW Police released CCTV footage of Jessica walking through suburban streets in Bossley Park, some three days after she went missing.

It said in a statement detectives hold 'grave concerns' for the southwest Sydney local as she has several health conditions.

The videos show Ms Zrinski walking south along Zadro Avenue at about about 8.35pm on Monday November 28, 2022.

She is then seen again outside a club on Prairie Vale Road at about 9.45pm Monday night and then walking east on the same some road five minutes later.

Detective Superintendent Michael McLean said police held serious concerns for Zrinski as she suffered from a number of health conditions.

“Given the passage of time, obviously our concerns have grown, given why we are issuing the re-appeal today,” he said.

“We do hold significant concerns for Jessica’s welfare and that relates to a number of health concerns we have for her and also given the significant amount of time that’s passed since she has been seen.”

“She was a very bright and vibrant person, and she would engage with a lot of people, and she would happily speak to anyone that came her way, so certainly she was a friendly person.”

The language they use is a little misleading and oddly unclear.

She was seen by a family member on the 25th, and this seems to be the day that the media wants to point to as when she went missing. However, she was captured on video footage on the 28th during daylight hours. She wasn't reported missing until December 3rd. There is no reason to believe she was LAST seen by any person on the 25th. It seems to me that if she had turned up on, say, November 30th, nobody would have though anything of not seeing her for 5 days.

Her phone and bank accounts have been "untouched since late November." Why not specify a date? Perhaps because it doesn't the last-see-on-the-25th narrative.

And just to top it off, there is nothing at all "chilling" about that video.

I don't know if any of this means anything (probably not) but I thought it important to set the record straight. Or at least to call out the sensationalist nature of the media broadcast. IMO

I didn't see that this image (from 11 seconds in the linked video) was actually shown in the video segment. Probably I just missed it?

If I remember correctly, that's the first image that was shared, before the 28th November footage was released.

The dates and times on this case just don't add up. Some websites were saying the footage was from November 25th at 10am, but I couldn't be sure if they were simply mixing up the footage and the sighting at 10pm. But to me that doesn't look like an orange singlet?
She was "last seen" wearing a yellow long sleeved shirt which this obviously wasn't. So was that security footage actually from November 25th at 10am, she changed into the yellow shirt afterwards, and then at some point after she was "last seen" changed into the orange singlet?
And I agree, it's not chilling at all. It really frustrates me when websites, especially news sources, use that kind of language. It's for SEO, I know, but if you're trying to be informative you shouldn't sensationalize.

Police have released new images of a car that detectives believe may be the key to finding 30-year-old Jessica Zrinski, who disappeared from Sydney’s south-west last year.

Police believe the driver of the car may have offered Zrinski a lift at a pub car park, before driving towards the Blue Mountains.
Zrinski was last seen by friends and family in the Bossley Park area about 10pm on November 27.
New inquiries have revealed Zrinski was in the car park of Greenfield Tavern on Mimosa Road at Greenfield Park about 10pm on November 28.

About 10 minutes later, Zrinski got into a blue Holden Commodore station wagon

Police are continuing the search for a Sydney woman who went missing six months ago, releasing CCTV footage of the last moment she was seen.

Jessica Zrinski, 30, went missing from Bossley Park on Sunday 27 November 2022, at around 10pm.

She was reported missing after her family couldn't contact her close to a week later on Monday, November 28.

Investigations into the case discovered that Zrinski was in the carpark of a Green Park hotel on Mimosa Road, on Monday, November 28 at 10pm.

She left the car park in a blue Holden Commodore station wagon 10 minutes later.

Police believe the Commodore drove towards the Blue Mountains using the M4 and the Great Western Highway.

"At this stage, we can place Jessica in this vehicle headed towards the Blue Mountains, but we cannot ascertain her movements beyond there," Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, said.

BBM - 9news aren't clear with this wording. That's one day later, not a week later. Does that mean her family last saw her a week prior to that weekend? Or they reported her missing a week later?

All a bit confusing!

If you read my lead post above, it states:

Jessica Zrinski, 30, was last seen in person in the Bossley Park area on Friday November 25, 2022, and was reported missing a week later on December 3.

NSW Police released CCTV footage of Jessica walking through suburban streets in Bossley Park, some three days after she went missing.

''Detectives have made a renewed appeal as they try to figure out why 30-year-old Sydney woman Jessica Zrinski disappeared last November. She was seen getting into a stranger's car outside the outside Greenfield Tavern at Greenfield Park.''

This is really sad.

- Nov 28th 2022 8:35pm Jessica is seen walking south on Zadrow Ave, Bossley Park. Heading in the direction of Club Marconi
- 9:45pm Jessica is seen walking near Club Marconi, then heading east, in the direction of Greenfield Tavern
- 15 minutes later at 10pm she is seen outside the Greenfield Tavern
- 10:10pm she is seen leaving the Greenfield Tavern carpark with someone in a blue wagon - heading west. The police claim this person was a stranger to her.

November 29th Jessica was seen in the same blue wagon near the Blue Mountains.

December 3rd Jessica is reported as missing

Police have located the man with the blue wagon and questioned him but basically said that lead nowhere.

The police stated they have an 11hr window where they don't know where Jessica was (between her getting in the car on the night of the 28th and being seen inside the car on the 29th).
This leads me to believe that the man in the car isn't being fully cooperative with police (or maybe he claimed he dropped her off somewhere that night and then picked her up again the next day?)

The car has been searched and forensically tested and it doesn't appear that they found anything compelling.

It seems like the police knew about this blue car from the very beginning but have now only chosen to release this info since they are running out of leads. They have claimed that the man in the blue car is not a suspect at this time... However, they have his car splashed all over three news asking for tips and if anyone saw the car.

Shame this info wasn't released sooner since I'm not sure they will get many tips now, but I guess they had their reasons.

Three-day forest search begins for Sydney woman missing since November

"Detectives have begun a three-day search west of the Blue Mountains for Jessica Zrinski, who disappeared in Sydney’s south-west last year.

A land search in the Hampton State Forest, which is about 25 kilometres north of Jenolan, began on Friday and is expected to continue until Sunday.

The search will involve police helicopters, the dog unit, rescue and bomb disposal unit and volunteers from the SES and NSW Rural Fire Service.

Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said on Friday that police were committed to finding Zrinkski and believe she may have visited Hampton State Forest sometime after she was last seen in November.

“Our investigators are conducting this search to find some trace that Jessica may have been here and will leave no stone unturned in our quest to locate her,” he said."

A large-scale search has been launched in bushland for a woman who vanished without a trace from Sydney five months ago.

Jessica Zrinski, aged 30, was last seen in Bossley Park in Sydney's south-west on November 25 before her concerned family reported her missing to police five days later.

Local police conducted extensive inquiries before homicide detectives took over the investigation under Strike Force Keder.

Inquiries have since revealed Jessica was captured on CCTV in the carpark of a hotel on Mimosa Road at nearby Greenfield Park around 10pm on November 28 before she got into a blue Holden Commodore station wagon 10 minutes later.

The vehicle is believed to have travelled west on the M4 and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.

On Friday, investigators launched a land search in the Hampton State Forest about 25km north of Jenolan in central-west NSW as part of the ongoing investigations.

Detectives believe Jessica may have entered or visited the state forest sometime after getting into the Holden Commodore.

Investigators have vowed to leave no stone unturned in their ongoing investigations.

'Our investigators are conducting this search to find some trace that Jessica may have been here and will leave no stone unturned in our quest to locate her,' Homicide Squad Commander Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said.

'We strongly urge anyone who may know any further information on Jessica's whereabouts to please come forward. We want to find her and provide her family with much-needed answers.'
