My money is on this being Therese Balsano. Everything fits, except that she wasn't noted as being pregnant.

When did they submit her DNA?

I'm betting on Balsano too. She's been in the works for a long time and she even went missing from the same town.

That's a good thought. It looks like a lovely location to pray and meditate. If she'd been going there all through her pregnancy, she might not have realized she wasn't going to be able to get back down.

It's the third entry in the list under the map; if you click on "show on map" it will highlight the church.

It's right in Sycamore Canyon. How far up, I can't tell. But it's possible it's within walking distance of the place where Jane Doe was found.

I have spoken before of my opinion that this UID is Therese Balsano, and I am still convinced of that.

If it isn't Therese, I'll eat my hat.

Not one hundred percent, no. The New Church of the Full Endeavor is headquartered in Wisconsin Dells, but it no longer lists a branch in Arizona. I thought Therese had a Wisconsin connection but it's not listed on her Namus or NAMPN (http://www.nampn.org/cases/balsano_therese.html). I had some other information about the church but the links have all decayed.

I also don't see her Doenet or Charley pages and I thought she had both? (eta: No, apparently I'm mistaken.)

I thought she had a Wisconsin connection too. It appears that her relatives (unless they belong to another woman with the same name and nickname of Trease Ali Marie) mostly live in Wisconsin.

Hello. I was thinking about this case today, trying to match a missing person, which was a bust. However, I came across a blog post that lists pregnant missing women and girls (girls have age listed as well) and links through to the charley project. Though not all cases are listed, (last update in 2012?) I thought maybe this would yield some sort of result that matches, or for other unidentified women who are pregnant.

I just went to update the ruleouts list on this case, and got a permission error.

So I went to look at Therese Balsano's Namus page. I got a permission error there too.

I'll look up the details later when I'm not on my phone. Somebody called in the three people we were looking at, one of whom was Therese. The investigator our person talked to took the names but said they were already trying to confirm her identity. So it appears they were already looking at her.

I just read the whole thread before I commented. Someone mentioned they'd be an auto match since they both had DNA in the system so I'm not sure anyone tried. Her name was brought up several times in the past year or so.
