It's good to know that LE is still actively working on this case. Sooner or later....something will break loose.

I admire the strength that Kaine and Desiree have shown. They refuse to let Kyron be forgotten, and they are working tirelessly for their child. I can't imagine the toll it's taking on their lives and their health. I pray for them often.

He feels Kyron is still alive, I do too! I hope he gets to Mexico and Texas and some of the cental states as well. I know that FL, has woman and kids brought in for the sports events, they did this for the Super Bowl. We have a large sex trade here.

I heart you Bern. :)

The Oregonian also ran a midsize item today: http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2012/03/kaine_horman_at_portland_roads.html

I haven't checked elsewhere yet.

Thank you for the love & link pdx, I heart you back my good friend. I think Kaine is doing all he can and I hope he finds Kyron soon. He has lost so much weight. I am glad he commented on his daughter and how well she is doing. He has hope as long as Kyron is not found dead. You have to have hope or you don't have much else with these kind of cases. Faith keeps you alive, hope keeps you going.

PORTLAND, Ore. - Desiree Young, the mother of missing boy, Kyron Horman, plans to file a civil suit against the boy's stepmother, Terri Horman.

The lawsuit, which sources tell KATU News will be filed on Friday, accuses Horman of "custodial interference."

Under Oregon law, custodial interference involves keeping a person from their legal custodian "permanently or for a protracted period."

Kyron Horman Missing: Desiree Young Sues Terri Horman, Son's Stepmother, Over Child's Body

The suit filed Friday afternoon in Multnomah County Circuit Court by Desiree Young asks a judge to order Terri Horman to return Kyron Horman or, if he's dead, to say where his remains are.

June 4 "marks two years of this nightmare, two years since my son went missing," Young said. "I believe that Terri Horman knows where my son is. I believe that Terri Horman is responsible for where my son is."

Kaine Horman will not be at work Monday on the second anniversary of the disappearance of his son Kyron Horman.

He's reserving the day for media interviews about his son, who was last seen June 4, 2010. Over the past two years, Horman has spent countless hours reminding the public that his son is missing and that he's focused on finding him. The latest event was held Saturday, with a Run for Kyron at Cook's Park in Tigard.

Desiree Young's civil lawsuit against Terri Moulton Horman can proceed without delay, a Multnomah County judge ruled Wednesday.

Judge Henry Kantor issued his decision after hearing 30 minutes of testimony. He said a deposition of Horman's biological son, James Moulton, can go forward Thursday before his planned military service is set to begin late this month.

"This is an active investigation, with a laser pointed at my client," Bunch said. "Anything she says--exculpatory or not -- can be used by the prosecution in the civil case."

Young's lawyer, Eldon Rosenthal, argued that the civil case should move forward because no indictment has been returned, more than two years after Kyron's disappearance. He said even if Horman declines to testify, the civil suit should still move forward.

Desiree Young's lawyer has filed a motion asking a judge to compel DeDe Spicher, a friend of Terri Moulton Horman's, to answer his questions after she declined to answer 142 questions during a deposition he took earlier this month stemming from Young's civil lawsuit against Horman.
Spicher even declined to identify a photo of Terri Horman, or whether she knew Terri Horman's husband, Kaine Horman, Young, or had ever met Kyron.

Kyron Horman's stepmom trying to force to investigator, estranged husband to testify

"Terri Horman's lawyers want to question her estranged husband and a lead investigator into the 2010 disappearance of her stepson Kyron Horman as she seeks to contest a renewal of a long-standing restraining order against her. Her attorneys this month filed subpoenas to also obtain any documents from husband Kaine Horman that would support his allegations that she "is being investigated by law enforcement for involvement in violent crimes."

Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation continues in Kyron Horman disappearance - 07/30/13

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is aware that Desiree Young has withdrawn her civil suit against Terri Horman. The Kyron Horman investigation remains an active, ongoing criminal investigation. While the civil suit was of interest, it did not affect the course of action or goal of the investigation. We continue to work with our investigative partners and the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office as we maintain the case integrity, development of leads and information gathered through the course of the investigation.

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office remains in close contact with the parents of Kyron regarding the course of the investigation. In addition, Sheriff Staton has met regularly with Kaine Horman concerning the investigation and to ensure they are fully aware of the current course of action being taken by investigators. Sheriff Staton wants the citizens of Multnomah County to know this criminal investigation remains a high priority for the Sheriff's Office and that it will continue unimpeded. The integrity and security of the investigation remains foremost for this agency.

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is unable to comment on specifics of the investigation but would like to reiterate its commitment to finding and bringing Kyron home and bringing closure to Kyron's family and the investigation. MCSO encourages anyone with information regarding this case to contact our tip line at 503-261-2847.

Terri Horman agrees to limited evaluation for parenting time with daughter | OregonLive.com http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2013/08/terri_horman_agrees_to_limited.html

snip
Terri Moulton Horman agrees with her estranged husband's request that an expert should evaluate whether she should have any parenting time with the couple's 4-year-old daughter, Kiara, court papers say.

But Horman, who has been a focus of the criminal investigation into the June 2010 disappearance of her stepson, Kyron, would seek limits on such an evaluation, her attorney Peter Bunch wrote in a filing earlier this month in the Hormans' divorce case.
