I believe we will all soon see this conclude with long-overdue justice for Rebecca and her family.

• Blows to Rebecca's head were sufficient to incapacitate her.
• Rebecca was strangled before being hanged.
• Rebecca screamed for help before being incapacitated.
• Rebecca was not given bad news that evening.
• Suicidal hanging is not supported by the forensic evidence.
• The lack of DNA and fingerprints is consistent with the crime scene being wiped down.
• The murderer raped Rebecca with a knife handle.
• The painted phrase on the door was written by someone with intimate knowledge of Max's condition.
• Writing on the door has similarities to Adam Shacknai's handwriting.
• Height of the writing matches Adam Shacknai, not Rebecca.
• The knots and bindings are linked to Adam Shacknai with his nautical background.

Cynic's post should be national news. Where is the murder charge? Billionaire and family kill a woman. Racial bias is speculative, but in this instance, it's obvious. It's class, race, and gender. They stone-cold murdered a poor girl from Asia and have gotten away with it for years.

The Federal government has to get involved, bring in unbiased prosecutors and investigators. Because, I don't know, call this analysis crazy, but a normal female method of suicide is not stripping naked and dying a horrible BDSM death on the front lawn. She was murdered, everybody knows that.

The hand writing analysis - Rebecca’s writing tilts to the right. Adam’s is tilting to the left. At least in the letters shown above. I went back to took at the entire message left on the door. Wow.

The way the SDSO bungled this investigation and misrepresented facts of the case, it was nearly impossible to figure out who killed RZ. There was so much evidence and information kept from the public it was difficult to understand what happened.

Finally having a chance to see handwriting samples from Adam and Rebecca confirms what many of us suspected all along, but could never prove. Thanks for uploading those. For so, so long we were told by "experts" that it was impossible to analyze and identify block printed text.

I knew when I accidentally recreated RZ's alleged act of painting the message and getting paint on her chest (no, I wasn't nude at the time). When painting the doorknocker on my front door, I realized there was no way you could manipulate your posture or stance that would allow paint to drip from the door or paintbrush onto your chest. Just one more example of "experts" telling us again and again that what we were seeing wasn't really there.

Thanks also to Dr. Cyril Wecht and RZ's family for enlisting his help. How does the ME reconcile the differences in each of their reports?

We still have so many questions and I'm sure we're looking forward to asking them when the time is right.

Jonah and Dina were at Max’s side when Adam called. Jonah left the room to take the call. When he returned, Dina says, he told her that Rebecca had killed herself, and then he pantomimed stabbing himself in the stomach. “Why?” Dina recalls asking. “Asian honor,” Jonah said.

When investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff ’s Department came to interview Jonah at the hospital that afternoon, he said, “She comes from a true Asian background... they just look at things differently in terms of responsibility.”

Later in his interview with LE, he mentions RZ's ex Neal Nalepa multiple times, making sure to tell them that NN was in "exceedingly insistent" contact with her and texted her every day. (NN was later verified via video at a gym in AZ that day)

A general rule of murder investigations is that, if one part of the investigation/evidence is seriously called into question, the entire case should be re-evaluated to see where other mistakes may have been made. The fact that the evidence on the sexual assault knife handle in question was never tested and that the reports of the location of RZ's fingerprints on a second knife in the death room were reported incorrectly (her fingerprints were found on the blade of the knife, the handle had been wiped clean) then the details of the autopsy report should be questioned as well. Perhaps the ME was only referring to very obvious signs of trauma.

I’m sure there are a few people who had hoped the trial would never happen because their time on the witness stand will be, undoubtedly, unpleasant. I can’t imagine, for example, Lucas faring well as he attempts to defend some of his assertions.

It's possible she was penetrated with the knife handle vaginally without obvious VISUAL evidence of trauma during the autopsy/ speculum exam. It has come out that there is likely some actual physical evidence that RZ was penetrated with the knife handle. IMO, that is likely laboratory/ microscopic evidence that is definitively linked to RZ. I posted a while back about vaginal epithelium being distinctly different from regular epithelium. I'm guessing there is microscopic vaginal epithelium or other vaginal physical evidence.

I must say I learned quite a bit about reading and interpreting autopsy reports from this case. Most helpful was learning how an ME or Coroner can shade a report or make vague assertions about evidence. Recall how he gave such a general description of the noose around RZ's neck, in contrast to the great detail to which SDSO went to demonstrate the bindings on RZ's legs and wrists. The public had seen the wrist and leg bindings in photos, they couldn't see much of the noose.

From the search warrant – three references to a knife. The knife identified as a, “steak knife,” (27) is the description Keith Greer used when discussing the sexual assault.
“One of the most morbid and obscene pieces of evidence in this case, as identified by Forensic Specialist Lisa A. DiMeo, is that a steak knife at the scene was covered with blood on all four sides of the handle, a few inches up… “
