*Motions Hearing (@ 10:30am ET) - FL - Milendhere Gabriel Napoleon-Cadet (3) & Milendhet Gabriella Napoleon-Cadet (3) fraternal twins found unresponsive inside a car on I95 in Miami-Dade, Feb. 1, 2024. They were both taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. - *Shirlene Napoleon Alcime (42) “mom” arrested (2/15/24), charged (2/16/24) & arraigned (2/27/24) with 2 counts of felony child neglect causing great bodily harm. [She tried to commit suicide; was in critical condition in HCA Florida Aventura Hospital]. Held without bond. Plead not guilty.

2/22/24 Docket Update: (23) Redacted A-Form. 2/26/24: (24) Information filed by State. (25) Information filed. 2/27/24 Update: Arraignment hearing held. Plead not guilty. It was also revealed that more charges could be possible, though prosecutors were waiting for toxicology reports to be completed before making a decision. Next motions hearing on 3/6/24 @ 10:30am regarding bond.

Anyway - I do see Bond listed at zero - so I believe bond was denied at this last hearing.

MIAMI – A mother took her fraternal twins to Chuck E. Cheese and McDonald’s in the hours before they were found dead and foaming at the mouth in her SUV, a Miami-Dade police detective testified during a pre-trial detention hearing Wednesday.

Detective Malia Carson said Shirlene Alcime, charged with two counts of child neglect, told her that she wanted 3-year-olds Milendhet and Milendhere Napoleon-Cadet to have one last good day.

Alcime, of North Miami Beach, wasn’t present during Wednesday’s hearing; she remained in the hospital.

“She got onto the side barrier of the highway and laid on it and rolled over the edge,” Miami-Dade police Officer Edwin Ramos testified.

Alcime’s attorneys argued she should be released, but Judge Ellen Venzer ordered she remain in custody, saying she believes Alcime is a danger to the community.

Alcime has pleaded not guilty in the case. A status hearing was set for March 19.
 
Were the two babies given a poison? Were they given an overdose that caused their little foaming mouths? So very sad for them.

Mom survived the horror she caused but maybe she'll be in prison asap. Right? The babies didn't die of natural causes.
