The blacked out bit is too long to be a single word, so it probably isnt a relative (those would be single words). Something like "neighbour's *****" or "roommate's *****" perhaps. I think that would be reasonable since it would have to have been someone the roommates knew well enough to have suspicions but could not approach directly in the event they were wrong. It is also unlikely to be someone without an obvious connection to Jarred since any suspicious behaviour on his part would have generated a more direct response in that case.

Judging from the descriptions of the movies I doubt those were made by him, they describe unusual props which suggests that it was commercially produced. If I were to make a guess I would say they date from the 90s and were made somewhere in eastern europe/soviet union. There was a lot of commercially produced pornographic material involving illegal acts (kiddie *advertiser censored* included) generated after the fall of communism in that region at the time which is still floating around on the internet today.

That would leave the pictures. This Jarred guy doesn't seem particularly sophisticated, I doubt he was part of a child *advertiser censored* ring or anything like that, most of this material probably came from the internet as well. The most recent charges however imply that they have identified at least one of the subjects in the pictures as someone he knew, which would of course implicate him in producing them.

I'm curious about what they mean by "large amount of child erotica" though, the wording implies that it was distinct from the 29 *advertiser censored* pictures/movies.

My guess is material found when they searched the day of his arrest. On the affidavit, it said that .....your affiant was contacted by Sgt. W McKinney with CCSO and told child *advertiser censored* was found --------(blacked out) that belonged to the defandant Jarred Harrell---------(large portion blacked out).

If you Google Sgt. McKinney, his name pops up in several recent articles about a murder/suicide in the area. My guess is he is a homicide detective. And I'm guessing that a homicide detective would have come into possession of JH's alleged *advertiser censored* from a search of the Gano house/Callahan house or aunt's home. IMO only.

You know I bet you are right, I think this was found somewhere that would identify the child in the pictures so they had to block it all out. I bet it identifies the house, home, room or shed it was found in and the area the pictures were taken in.,

JH is one sick . It makes me sick to even think about what he has done to innocent children. I hope he never breathes the air of freedom again. He doesn't deserve to. Thank God he has no bond so there will be no chance of him running.

I think we will hear more about him soon. At least I hope so. I just have a feeling that LE has their man in Somer's murder. We will see.

With the beard he had, he does look like the guy at the vigil that AmandaR. has circled in her album. The beard would appear darker at night, IMO.

I think if he killed her, it was because he accidentally killed her (let's not speculate on how that happened) or to keep her quiet because she was going to tell or something like that.

I think that is very possible. She might have simply told him she was telling.

I don't think so, the officer was describing the roommate's description of the person as their motivation for looking at his computer, under those circumstances he wouldn't have attached a specific name (as you can see, he doesn't identify the roommates by name either).

I am so sad to come catch up here to find JH has been accused of not only viewing this but producing it, and taking part. Now we no there is at least one child he is accused of molesting. I am thinking they are new charges.

My best theory is he started by viewing child *advertiser censored*, graduated to molesting a child known to him , then to filming or taking pictures of the sick twisted things he was doing. I wonder, if this was a relation or friends child, he would have to be pretty careful not to get caught. His parents moved just before Somers disappearance, did he lose access to this child?? Did he then graduate to taking a child off the street. If he is guilty of this I think maybe he decided to escalate things, and Somer was a spry little girl who would have fought and told for sure!! If he didn't actually plan this out, i believe he just did it on the spur of the moment...He saw an opportunity, and then he had to kill her after the deed, what choice would he have. WHY it breaks my heart so bad how can anyone hurt a defenseless child like that.

Yes thats true. Could be a lot of things.. "friends daughter" "little sister" etc. , just thinking that whatever it was, it would identify or lead to who the child is.

I bellieve that JH has used his aunt's computer in Mississippi and looked at some child *advertiser censored* sites or signed into a site that was traced to his aunts computer. He had kept physical evidence such as CD's with child *advertiser censored* on it when he was living with the roommates in Florida. IIRC, JH had been in Mississippi for a little over 2 weeks, so I do not think he just 'cold turkey' stopped looking at child *advertiser censored*. IMO, he must have had something of it when the aunts property was searched. IDK, but I just cannot stop thinking that something significant was found in his belongings in Mississippi that also had something to do with these new charges.

I think LE, the FBI, and the Federal Marshall's have done an excellent job.

All three houses (Callahan, Gano, and Mississippi), and his car were searched on the same day - the same day they got a warrant for his arrest - and arrested him in Mississippi.

wouldn't those charges be in Mississippi though? I'm not saying that he quit looking at *advertiser censored* there. I'm just thinking that he couldn't be charged in Florida for a crime committed in Mississippi.

BBM. Made me think, did he have some property on him when he was arrested in MS, that was turned over when he was extradited? Maybe a flash drive on a keychain or neckchain? This would also make sense given the affadavit saying another Det. contacted the special victims detective to report it. JMO.

I wonder what computer he used after his was turned into the police by roommates? He left it with them - right? So did he buy a new one, use mom and dads, I don't know if he had a computer at the Gano house. Yes, his aunt's in Mississippi, but what about the months prior?
