GA GA - Justin Gaines, 19, Duluth, 2 Nov 2007

Justin's picture looks so familiar to me.

Praying for his family.

How strange - I was just thinking about this case today out of the blue, and almost came here to search for it but got busy with other things. Then just now I saw the story on Twitter! I guess I'm literally haunted by this case, which never made any sense to me! :(

I hope they can solve it and find Justin!

Investigators dig up old well in search for Gwinnett teen missing more than six years

DACULA, Ga. —

Gwinnett County sheriffs deputies spent Thursday digging up an old well, following up on a tip about the disappearance of a Gwinnett teen more than six years ago.

Justin Gaines was last seen leaving Wild Bills nightclub in Duluth in November 2007.

Investigators said they were following up on a tip that brought them to an old well off of Highway 316 outside of Dacula.

Channel 2’s Tony Thomas spoke to investigators at the scene, who said so far they have not found anything.

7 years later, family continues search for missing teen

Gaines was last seen in November 2007 in front of Wild Bill's nightclub in Duluth. Surveillance video showed him shaking hands with two friends then walking away.

In the living room of her Gwinnett County home, Erika Wilson has a set of photographs carefully arranged on the mantel above the fireplace.

The photos are of her son Justin Gaines, who disappeared seven years ago on Nov. 2.

"I miss his smile. I miss his blue eyes. I don't have him walking in the door, so it's nice to be able to look at him,” Wilson said.

Bumping - will keep an eye on this news.

Gwinnett County police say a human skull and bones have been recovered in Buford.

Cpl. Michele Pihera says a work crew discovered the remains Tuesday afternoon while they were clearing an easement near a pipeline.

Pihera says the skull is almost fully intact and several other bones were found scattered nearby.

Why is no one talking about this in light of recent news? I know there are people who know or have heard rumours about this well. I've seen posts where people have said they called in tips about it on other sites. I also know there are some good sleuthers in this area. Cmon yall!

I heard the same thing Minette. Sounds like they know who did it, they just need to find his body. I live about 15 minutes away from the area they are searching. There hasn't been much talk about this at all around here.
