If that info is correct she's tall for her age 9 years old 5'2" and 108 lbs. My 8 yo is only 4'2".

Oh, thank goodness it's not just me that found the info. way off!!!
Thank you!!!!!!

This is about 40 mins south of here and it starts getting dark around 6pm. IMO she didnt need to be walking but alot of parents accept it. On a country road too.

BTW West ITA they should have issued a Amber Alert. According to the Familywatchdog.us there are 34 SO's in the immediate area.

Does anyone know what the closest major city to St. Martins MO is? Just for media outlet purposes, I'm not sure where this would get the most coverage. I'm not sure how far cities like St. Louis and Kansas City are.

I think its pretty much in the middle between KC and St. Louis.

without an actual address, I googled (earth) the Route D location, there are on/off ramps to route 50 right there where she was to be walking. I'm looking for parents names to see if I can find the exact address.IMO

Anyone heard about what type of searches are happening? I hope they are scouring alongside that country road inch by inch, because in addition to the possibility of an abduction is a hit and run type situation. If someone driving a gravel road fast at dusk hit her, they may have thought they hit a small deer or something. Just my first thoughts in this situation.

I wish we knew exactly what part of that road she was walking, and if it was close to hwy 50. There is an on ramp right there to the hwy.

jinx you owe me a coke - lol

your post registered first but they were timestamped the same. ;)

I grew up in Missouri and went to the Jeff. City area often as I had a friend who lived there. The area is rural, there is a lot of foresty areas, country roads, etc. That area in Missouri is pretty well known for their production of meth as well.
I am total agreement she should have no way been walking a lone on a country road like that. Being a small town I think people feel safe and have notions that nothing like this happens in small towns and rural America. Those of us who frequent WS know that is not the case but a lot of people don't keep up with missing people, abductions, homicides, etc and just don't know how many RSO's there are living around them, how many kids are abducted every day, etc.

I hope Elizabeth is found safe but oh, it doesn't look good.

It is Jefferson City here is the major news for them

But our local news here in Columbia does a good job most of the time with MU journalists.

I have to go run errands but it has been raining nonstop since about midnight on so I hope she is safe and sound with a friend and not out in the weather all night. Just a wish

You have got to be kidding me! Another little girl is missing while walking ALONE???? This is not good! Not good at all!

Does she have a NCMEC poster yet? Off to check!
