I don't what happened with Boyd's first trial, what came out, and I have NOT seen all of the testimony in this trial, but there hasn't appeared to be as much about what happened to Chris or who might have been involved spelled out as much as what happened to Channon. Some of the perps seemed to accuse Boyd of Newsome. If that was they case, why didn't the Feds charge Boyd with murder in the first trial? Will the state charge him now? The prosecution seems ready to imply that Cobbins is responsible in some way, but is there a direct link?

I think the state can still bring charges against EB.

Saying that certain pictures not introduced into evidence was in full view of jurors. Judge and Pros says no and will not go back to jury either.

Defense accusing prosecution of putting photos into evidence that they weren't permitted to display as evidence. However, the prosecution apparently never put those particular photos into evidence. Green bombs out once more. He's had a couple of stumbles during the trial.

Asking for an acquital for all accounts except the lesser charges Cobbins plead guilty to.

Shouldn't this have been done at pretrial????

Defense say there is no evidence of premede asking premed charges be thrown out. Judge says they are different than Felony murder counts. Wants to hear pros on premed charges.

Contact wound to head indicates Chris was premed murder.

Channon by stuffing her into trash can was premed act.

Cobbins assisted, intended to benefit from proceeds and assisted other actors.

Looks like Channon's father and others in the courtroom may be praying while judge considers motions to dismiss some or all counts not already admitted to.

I think the state can still bring charges against EB.

Further, Eric DeWayne "E" Boyd, 34, was arrested in connection with the fatal carjacking, though not indicted by the Knox County grand jury. Still, Boyd was charged in federal court as an accessory after the fact for helping the suspects evade the police. Later, Boyd was also accused by Thomas and Cobbins of rape and murder, and a search warrant was obtained for his DNA.[14] The accusations did not result in charges.[15]

I snipped this from wikipedia (source)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Channon_Christian_and_Christopher_Newsom

Prosecution says don't have to prove Cobbins at the murders because he fascilitated this crime.

Prosecution arguing felony murder law.

Defense, disputing premed vs felony murder counts. State still needs to show premeditation.

Judge says reasonable to conclude that it was intention that these two people were intended to be killed.

All indications is this was a planned murder, Chris.

And Channon planned murder.

Judge saying that Cobbins was present at abduction at home taken to, involved with the assault of Channon. It's up to the jury to decide if it's premed. Counts stand and go to the jury.

Defense arguing that state needs to prove Cobbins shared in the intent to kidnap that started the events.

Says state didn't show Cobbin's knew kidnapping was going to go down. Cobbins stated intent was to visit Freeman not carjacking.

Prosecution, Circumstancial evidence shows Cobbins knew. Not believable that Davidson and Boyd suddenly jump out and do this and not trust he's in on this. These type of crimes take planning, casing the scene. The brought Cobbins because they knew he could count on him to do what he said he did. Cobbins is up to his eyeballs in this. Then flees to Ky.

State says it's fantastical to assume that Davidson and Boyd (?) jumped out of the car Cobbins was in, at the same time, and carjacked Chritian and Newsome, without any discussion of what was about to happen and then, surprised afterward, followed them home, having no idea what was going on.
