Father’s job may require travel, and/or the father may spend significant time away from where mother, daughter, and son lived in TX.

Interestingly, the city of Aurora, IL appears to be associated with the family per public records—possibly they lived there before moving to Texas. I wonder if TR being caught near Aurora, NE suggests he was headed up to his old town for some reason and just got the state wrong..?

All speculation on my part.

Body of missing Humble mother identified after being discovered in trunk in Nebraska, sheriff says; Son charged with unauthorized use of vehicle

The driver of a vehicle that crashed following a police pursuit in Nebraska has been identified as missing Humble teen Tyler Roenz. A woman’s body has been found in the trunk, but her identity has not yet been released, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to court documents, Tyler only had the authorization to use the vehicle to go back and forth to school and did not have permission to operate the vehicle outside of Harris County. He was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, court documents said.

Michelle’s husband told authorities that he entered the garage of his home to find what appeared to be a tooth and a trail of blood that led to the master bedroom, where there were at least four apparent human teeth on the carpet. The husband said he also found his wife’s purse and cell phone in the bedroom. The man said he called out for his son and wife but found that the vehicle was missing and no one was home.

Preliminary reports show Michelle Roenz died from strangulation and blunt force trauma, Harris County Deputy Thomas Gilliland said Monday.

Gilliland said Texas authorities are working with Nebraska officials to extradite the teen to Harris County to face a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
“Once investigators interview (the teen), an additional charge of murder is expected,” Gilliland said.

The details of the previous attack in February 2022...
3rd-degree felony charge stemming from the alleged attempted sexual assault of a young woman.
Tyler Roenz appeared in court in April on that charge, although the incident was reported in February. The victim was a student at North Shore Senior High School.
Court documents revealed he picked the alleged victim up from school and took her phone. According to court documents, when she tried to get it back, he became angry. He then ripped off her shirt and bra, bit her repeatedly on the back, punched her, groped her breasts and crotch, then tried to take off her pants before pushing her out of the car half naked, per court records. He then kicked her in the face, causing a cut that required stitches.
The young woman told officers she felt like she was going to die.

The details above resembles what happened to his mom (minus the sexual stuff I hope). That happened on school grounds over a phone. Beyond scary. Possibly a gf and jealousy. Out of control Rage!

A Texas teen will appear in Hall County Court on Friday on a felony fugitive from justice charge. The teen was taken to an Omaha hospital for treatment but has since been released to the custody of the Hall County Department of Corrections, where he awaits an extradition hearing.

Tyler had his first court appearance yesterday and requested an extradition hearing. That will take place on Nov. 30 in Hall County Court. He was represented by Hall County public defender Vicky Kenney. He was charged as an adult. (He turns 18 on Nov. 11)
