Isn't she Poppy Lee Elliott, not Polly? She has quite a good resemblance facially, though her description says she's blonde. Kim looks blonde. I'm not wild about either one, but they're both possible.

Carol Nee is thought to have taken her handbag with ID, keys, phone, etc. so she probably had access to enough resources to travel by bus or whatever, so the distance might not be a problem. I'd like to know whether she had any connections in Washington that might have taken her there. I'd be more enthusiastic about her if there was something.

I agree with your observations. Poppy is listed as blonde but in some of her pics, she has very dark hair. Kim's hair looks light to me as well. I'll poke around and see what I can find on Carol and Barbara.

Carol Nee? Massachusetts woman who walked out of a friend's house in December and hasn't been seen since. Age and weight are in range, height is close.

I think Carol Nee bears a good resemblance to the UID. She's been missing since December 8th. Article says she suffers from paranoia and PTSD and may need medication. Having witnessed someone who has mental issues without their meds I don't even question how she could have gotten across country. I would like to see her ruled out.

It's in Carol Nee's Namus (https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/23080/0/), under Clothing: "Purse containing identification, keys, cellular telephone." I guess it doesn't actually say credit cards, but if she took her purse, she probably had credit cards and money. I've been trying to find out if she was a veteran and that's how she acquired PTSS, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information. I agree that it sounds like she was going out to harm herself, or came to accidental harm on account of the weather being so bad, but she's only a short cab ride from the Syracuse airport or the downtown bus station.

Arlene McLean would have been 43/close, height's close too. Just throwing that out there..I'm only 60% imho that it'd be a good match. Just throwing that out there. I thought of Canada because Washington and the US would be a great place to Disappear if you're Canadian. Moo

you can get PTSS/PTSD from abuse, too. I've researched DV rates and links to PTSD. It's a horrible disorder

Weird. And it sounds like she has family looking for her, too. I think it's a long shot that she's Spokane Jane, but thought I'd throw it out there. Maybe Norma needs a thread on here.

I am new to this thread and tried to access the link at the top of the thread. Unfortunately, the information has been taken down from the website. I am not sure exactly where she was found but it looks to be Upriver Drive in Spokane. The river flows from the east (Post Falls) westerly into Spokane. There are numerous turnouts and swimming areas along Upriver drive. She had to have been found above the dam on the western part of Upriver. Upriver drive is a beautiful curvy river road along the north side of the Spokane River. There is a swimming hole and bridge just east of this area on Argonne Rd and there is another swimming area with parking and a beach right along Upriver Drive. Either one of those areas would be a more probable spot to get into the water (IMO).

There are also homes along the river just east of where she was alleged to have been found. For instance Maringo Drive has many homes with access to the water (some of them have massive waterslides, docks, and elaborate landscaping).
