Before sentencing, friends of victim Lynn Hernan spoke about her wonderful personality and the suffering she possibly went through with her friend and convicted eye drop killer #JessyKurczewski. One of Hernan's friends ripped Kurczewski into pieces by calling her "the devil" and a "liar." "She's the worst of humanity," he said. Kurczewski was found guilty of killing Hernan by poisoning her with eye drops.

Jessy K sentenced to 40 years with the possibility of extended supervision and ordered to pay restitution. She possibly will be released age 80.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (Court TV) — A Wisconsin woman convicted in the death of a woman in her care was sentenced to life in prison, with a chance of parole after 30 years, but was ordered to serve her sentences for the separate counts consecutively. That means she will be eligible for parole when she’s approximately 80 years old.
Last year, a jury found Jessy Kurczewski, 39, guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of felony theft in the 2018 death of Lynn Hernan.
Judge Jennifer Dorow sentenced convicted eye drop killer #JessyKurczewski to life in prison with the possibility of extended supervision after 30 years for the murder of her friend Lynn Hernan. Kurczewski showed no emotion while she was being sentenced.
