Don't be too upset about him pleading guilty. I know a few things about the law from personal experience, and people very rarely- if ever- plead guilty right away. There are time limits involved so most lawyers just start out with a Not Guilty plea. As his lawyer gets the case together, he may very well change it to a guilty plea.Taking this to trial will further alienate him from his family IMO. ALL of the sick and dirty details WILL COME OUT and disgust everyone he loves even more than they already are. Bad decision, Speer. JMO

Jesse Speer is going to plead guilty Nov 19!
District Court Judge Steven Cranfill scheduled the change of plea and sentencing hearing in a Monday order.

District Judge Steven Cranfill of Cody set a Nov. 19 hearing for 40-year-old Jesse P. Speer of Manhattan, Mont. Park County Attorney Bryan Skoric said Tuesday that the hearing will resolve all the felony counts against Speer, but he declined to say how.
