Yesterday, Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Paul Morrissey said "a number of items" had been located and seized during the investigation, though police would not say what had been found or where.

"NT Police continue to make enquiries into the whereabouts of Angie Fuller and continue to search areas of interest as they are identified," he said.

"There have been no search areas identified outside the initial broad search area.

"A number of people have been spoken to over recent weeks but no-one has been brought in or spoken to in a suspect sense."

The news comes after NT Police last night issued a statement saying "no human remains have been located", after inaccurate reports from other media outlets about missing British backpacker Peter Falconio.

It's been just over six months since Angie Fuller went missing from a stretch of highway in the Northern Territory desert.

After a two-week search, NT Police declared her disappearance a homicide.

The Major Crime Squad is still on the case and "exploring several avenues of inquiry", with police considering offering a reward for information that can help them solve the case.

There have been unconfirmed reports she was last seen running into bushland, and others of a "vehicle incident" on the night of January 9.

Detective Senior Sergeant Ashley Dudson said police had obtained "a number of versions" of the events of that night, and were continuing to investigate.

Police are still appealing for anyone with information regarding Ms Fuller's disappearance to come forward.

They're also still seeking information on the movements of two cars believed to have been travelling in the Alice Springs area between January 9 and January 12.

Northern Territory Police have marked one year since Angie Fuller went missing in a remote part of the territory, saying there are people out in the community who "know what happened" to the 30-year-old mother of two.

The man who was with missing mum Angie Fuller immediately before she vanished in the Outback has a history of perpetrating horrific family and domestic violence towards women, including a terrifying attack on his aunt with a spear while affected by drugs and alcohol.

Jake Jefferson Peters was the last person to see Ms Fuller alive before she disappeared into the arid central Australian desert outside of Alice Springs in the early hours of January 10 last year.
