"Then, on Sunday, March 17, police announced Strain’s bank card was found on the embankment between Gay Street and the Cumberland River amid the ongoing search effort for the missing college student."
Finding Riley's bank card on the ground adds a more sinister element to this, in my opinion...
I've seen other posts where people advocate laws requiring bars help manage overly drunk people by escorting them to quiet rooms, etc., where they can sober up a bit, find their friends, etc., before "kicking them out". But I think those laws are unrealistic and they don't address the root...
Why didn't somebody help? I can understand a parent's frustration, but I can hazard a guess as to why nobody stepped forward to help a stumbling drunk, 6 foot 5 inch young man. I think most everyone has experience with "mean drunks"--those people who when drink, turn mean, and want to fight...
So Dylan's phone was discovered, and on it was a video he took of his murderer, taken while he lay dying. So incredibly sad. But props to Dylan for taking a video of his murderer. That video, plus Dylan's blood on the suspect's shirt, should be enough for a conviction, IMO.
Sure, right, go on and believe that. But the wife is not divorcing RA, is she? As she would most likely do if he killed those 2 girls. In my opinion, its because he actually did not confess and the prosecutor is way overstating the alleged "confession". Folks need to be more skeptical in...
How do you know for certain that "he said he did it"? I know LE has said he "confessed" to his wife and his mother over the telephone, but no transcript has been released. I think that if RA actually confessed to murdering the girls to his wife, she would be in the process of divorcing him...

Autumn Lane McClure, 16, of Ormond Beach, was last seen on May 10, 2004, when her boyfriend dropped her off at the Volusia Mall, according to a statement from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office...
I don't understand how someone in jail can successfully refuse to appear in court. One or more jailers should just restrain her and drag her into the courtroom if need be. If our jails and prisons allowed inmates to dictate what they will or will not do, then the system would quickly fall...
I found the appeal of David Phelps. It is depressing to read, but it contains a lot of detail about this case.
