Also someone posted the info back a bit, it's not the Feds it's the state Homeland Security which has several different responsibilities one of which is not human trafficking, at least not from what I read. jmo

ITA. An order of protection is definitely a matter of public record. That's how we find out in many of these missing person cases about an ex or current significant other's violent past, etc.

okay it's a commision for the State of TN Homeland Security, still don't see why they'd be involved, but alright it's not the Feds.

I have to be careful here but just let me say I know for a fact they wouldn't be involved... ever in something like an abduction/possible murder, unless there was some threat to national security or it was related to national security. At least on the Federal level.

I don't recall Le ever saying that either. I do recall them talking about it in the context of the person had to know the exit and entrance points, and also in the context of Clint's eyewitness report of where they were heading to the woods.
