I totally agree with you re the clothes. I have thought all along that they could have been from op shops and posted about it early on. The quilt could definitely be too.
Anyway.
The quilt was on one of the 5pm news bulletins (as a scrolling teaser) in NSW but I can't remember which one it was. I saw it when I was at the gym but I'm not talented enough to work out and post at the same time haha. I had to wait until I was home and showered to get online.
Wow.
Well.
If Dora wasn't shown here on TV until 2010 (and merchandise would have followed after it airing) does that mean that the clothes were purchased overseas???
When was Dora shown in England/Portugal/Spain?
I just saw this too! I think this means that the suitcase has been in an area exposed to the elements, well away from the general population - perhaps so that any smells of decomposition are not near people/houses.
Also, unlikely that it was inside the dark coloured suitcase seen being held...
It really is devastating. Madeleine does add up except for this little girl being found in Australia.
Wrt the tutu, does this mean she was dressed a couple of years after she died? The Cotton On tutu doesn't date back to 2007 IIRC?
I think this was the guy I had in mind. it probably doesn't add up.

I wasn't thinking of this guy - does anyone else have any ideas?
Definitely.
I wonder if there were any signs of animal activity? Perhaps it had been disturbed by animals after the man initially opened the suitcase in March?
