    Court

I had fallen out of touch with this case with CPH and didn't even realize it was still going on until I heard this on News12. Could be pretty interesting... never had a good feeling about this guy and it seems that whenever he speaks, he just digs a deeper hole.

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery by Robert Kolker

I really don't think the graffiti artist in the book is the same guy who painted the Gilgo mural in the tunnel (if it was the same dude, than he'd be my number one suspect). The graffiti artist in the book was someone who took pics for MBB and her escort friend's ads, if I remember correctly...

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery by Robert Kolker

Agreed, KT. Kim is almost the most tragic person in all of this. I hope she gets the helps she needs to get out of that life so she can try to have a relationship with her (many) children.

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery by Robert Kolker

Okay, let's see what I remember... He definitely interviewed Alex and Johnny and there's a lot of detail provided from interviews with MBB's friend (I think her name is Sarah??) who was with her in NYC before she disappeared. I don't remember an interview with Pak but it may have just been...

Cases possibly of interest for the LISK case

Sorry I can't provide a link, I'm on my kindle and have no idea how to. But a woman went missing from Hempstead lake park on father's day... google Catherine Brady. I believe she was living there.

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery by Robert Kolker

In a sense, Amber was presented as being an out of towner like the other girls but the author did explain how she ended up on LI and in Babylon living with DS. I'd say the geographical histories of all the girls were pretty thoroughly explained.

Lost Girls: An Unsolved American Mystery by Robert Kolker

I agree with the poster above who "couldn't put it down" in spite of a few factual errors. The author did a great job noting details and presenting different points of view and it definitely got my wheels turning again. The level of information the book contained about the families kinda...

Possible Victim: Natasha Jugo, 31, Queens, Body Washed Ashore and belongings found on Gilgo Beach Mar 2013 *car fnd Ocean Pkwy*

I haven't posted in ages but I still try to keep up. I have to say, I had a similar thought when I first heard about Natasha. My first thought was that she was following this case either on here or someplace else and also had severe mental health issues/suicidality and felt a connection to...

Shannan Gilbert Found, death declared an accident. #2

This probably isn't the ideal thread for this but it's the most active and I wanted to share this new article with everyone (don't get too excited, it's just an overview, but it's well-written and worth reading): http://issuu.com/milieu/docs/v01i03?mode=window&viewMode=doublePage It starts on...

ARRESTED- Luka Rocco Magnotta:1st deg murder charge #8

I really appreciate this post. For the past week I have been asking myself "why can't I just look away?" and your post sort of articulates my reasons in a way I was unable to arrive at myself. Also, I am so grateful to be able to read along here because as I delve into the darkest sides of...

Thanks for this. I've been trying to keep with with these threads, you guys never cease to amaze me with your sleuthing abilities and, more importantly, with your compassion. I just wanted to point out something that jumped out at me from this collection... a paragraph from the anesthetic...

The Rumor Mill -- unsubstantiated, yet possible relevant information

Those dolls are such a nightmare. My first thought was of the ending of the Blair Witch Project. Would love to see the picture, foreigner, how did you get it? I am trying to figure out why anyone would put one of those things at a memorial site... or anywhere, for that matter.

http://www.newsday.com/long-island/suffolk/police-remains-found-in-manorville-are-human-1.3539870 Some more details seem to be coming out... I know not everyone can get onto newsday.com so here are a few quotes: I really hope they are able to ID this person quickly. They're not sure if it...

Possibly related cases (GB4, Manorville, Bittrolff victims, & others)

I had a few issues with the show, in addition to what has already been discussed on here. If I remember correctly, "13" said that he believes the perp used a boat in some way for the murder and possibly the disposal of the GB4... as far as disposal goes this is not exactly possible if you look...

NY - LISK Bodies found as of December 10, 2011 Thread #13

Just a little update... MG posted on FB yesterday that she got a call from the ME who informed her (more or less) that she needs more time to examine the remains before she releases her findings. I'm not really going to speculate on what is taking so long since I don't know enough about how...
